Condo very old and needs updating. Ice maker and d/w did not work. Lamp in living room broken.

Old and outdated. The location was wonderful, but we weren't pleased with condition of condo.

Elevators was horrible (the wait was from anywhere to 30 minutes to a hour). The ice maker was broken and the room stayed hot no matter what you set the thermostat on.

CLEAN BUT POOR BEDDING

This rental is clean but don't expect a good night sleep. The unit should not be advertised for sleeping 6 when no one can be expected to sleep with springs and bars in their backs. The bed in the room was not a great mattress either. You could rest on it but I woke up multiple times in the night aching from that mattress. The wifi would barely pick up, so don't expect service from that.

beautiful views that take a long time to get to

The reviews about the elevators are accurate. They are a disaster. Several times we took the stairs, all 21 flights as it was faster than the elevators which yes were busy during check in/check out, but also constantly under maintenance which worsened the problem. The unit itself is great, well appointed. The only suggestion I would have is that there really should be some additional blankets in the building. There is a big difference in the rooms in the front vs the ones that are closer to the living room, therefore some rooms were chilly while others were the right temperature, would not have been a problem if the property had more than a very thin sheet and thin coverlet on the beds. We ended up using the blankets from our cars and buying a few cheap ones to be comfortable. Overall if you don't mind either waiting forever for elevators or taking 21 flights of steps than the place is great.

The condo itself was great…..

Our only complaint would be the elevators! With the amount of people staying at the resort, the elevators just simply can’t keep up. If you are already checked in, forget about going somewhere between 3pm and 9pm unless you have the patience. Obviously there was not air conditioning while waiting. Other than that, we had zero complaints! Be beds were amazing in our unit, beside the bunk beds.

Great Condo!

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It had everything our large family needed. It was very clean and well stocked. Also had beautiful views of the ocean. We will be back!

The check in process could use some work. Way too many people checking in at one time for this big of resort. The elevators need maintenance really bad. Most was hot no air. Very slow during busy times.

Awesome Beach Views

Excellent panoramic views of the beach. We also had a bonus of an air show that made you feel you could reach out and touch the planes! I had a great time and I would stay here again.

Cleanliness and comfort

The check-in and communication with the property manager were effortless. RealJoy response to my calls and text messages was very timely. However, the unit required a lot of updates. All of the mattresses were worn and needed to be replaced. The sofa's were old, worn and soft in different areas. The carpets in the bedroom felt dirty, I would not recommend having carpets in a beach unit. The bathroom tub had a dirt ring which we had to clean and the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms had mold on it. Last year the elevators required maintenance and they were not fixed this year. Very concerning. The unit we had last year was very nice, updated and clean. We will not be staying at the Tidewater again.

Great location. Need to update cookware. Couldn’t find where to get ahold of someone to let them know they could clean the condo early because we had to leave a day early because my mother passed away. We told the front desk and they said to contact the property owner….. anywho , it was a great location, very roomy for 10 guests .

Small Improvements

Beautiful view. Needs improvements with various items. Master Shower curtain and kitchen garbage can have seen way better days. Sink wouldn’t drain very fast in two of the bathrooms. Kitchen was very limited and coffee cups were the size of tea cups! Little improvements would make a big difference! Please add a hairdryer and thicker comforters on the beds!

Great Location and Views

There were 9 of us staying in the condo. It was a very comfortable space for all of us. There were only two issues we had. The first was the elevators, but that seems to be the issue with other reviews, not the condo owners fault. They are slow and very crowded. The second issue was the comforters on the beds. One bed was missing one, but property managers were quick to get one up to us. They are extremely thin, almost like a sheet, and not warm. Additional pillows, did not have cases. We didn't use the pullout couch, but did not see sheets and blankets for it. Overall we had an amazing stay and it worked out great, because we had other friends staying in the building as well. The balcony was absolutely incredible and the sunset views were awesome.

Nice place, great location

This was a nice stay. Everything was in working order. The beds are all very soft, which all of us prefer a harder mattress. Our window (which is on the sunrise side) did not shave a blind, and maintenance came the next morning and added a curtain. So they are very responsive! The cleaning crew needs to vacuum the ceilings, lots of dust up high.

Amazing!!

Our family had the best time at this property! The condo was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed the location and easy access to the beach. The indoor pool was a plus! We had a ball!
