Unit 148 - 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Gulf Side Interior Club Condominium

This completely renovated third/top floor 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property, in the Club building closest to our white sand beach. Because of its central location, #148 is also a short walk to the tennis courts, fitness center, pool and charcoal grills. This condo has everything you need to enjoy your Siesta Key vacation. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a 65" TV, and the guest bedroom has two full-size beds and a 43" TV. The beautiful master bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination, both with grab bars. The living room is equipped with a large 65" wall mounted, flat screen HDTV and a Bluetooth Bose speaker so you can listen to your favorite tunes. The newly renovated kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances and is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig machine, and even a wine refrigerator. The owner has provided a beach cart for ease in transporting your beach gear, as well as a rolling cooler that will keep your beverages ice cold. The condo is completely tiled throughout. The screened-in patio allows you to enjoy our beautiful tropical breezes while you sip your morning coffee, and the washers/dryers are located just downstairs in this building. The free, public trolley on Siesta Key, which travels back and forth between Siesta Village and Turtle Beach, has a stop near Palm Bay Club's front entrance. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two-bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people.

Great place

Our stay at the Palm Bay Club was relaxing and it was very convenient to be so close to the beach. Our Condo was very nice and we were very pleased to have a kitchen full of everything we needed to cook, pans, utensils etc.

great clean and updated Condo close to beach

we had a great stay at this condo. Beach towels provided and lounge chairs were already at beach to enjoy. The only thing you need to remember if Coffee filters- none provided. Ice machine and water dispenser also didn't work Everything else was great!

Great location

Smooth and easy checkin. Clean and update space. Baby peak-a-boo view of the gulf. 1.8 mile walk to downtown Siesta Key. Many great restaurants/grocery/shopping near by. Beach towels and chairs available in the unit. Lounge chairs provided for free by the Palm Bay. You can rent canopy’s or double padded canopy lounge chairs for $30/day or $200/week. Staff combs the private beach each evening and lay out the free loungers in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

The only negative this year is that the ice maker and water dispenser feature on the fridge was broken. Kind of an inconvenience to have to keep buying ice. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing

Loved the decor, beds were very comfortable, loved the sleep sack, location was perfect. We will be back!!! Didn't want to leave. Only disadvantage was the spare bedroom TV only had one channel and kids sleep with TV so if it would of been a smart TV for them to log in bedtime would have been much easier. But absolutely loved the unit, loved the place was absolutely perfect!!! We actually left sand toys for others to use. This unit has everything you can need including a wagon to take to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed many places along the emerald coast but this was our first time at Siesta Key. While the unit was fine for our stay I would not stay here again. The proximity to the beach is nice as well as having access to a private beach, however, the unit needs a few things updated and fixed. The biggest thing that needs to be replaced is the front door. It was difficult to lock as the door is splitting on the side, appears to be from water damage. We also encountered several rude cleaning ladies on our stay and this coupled with minor maintenance issues and the unit being on the third floor with no laundry in the unit makes it where we would not choose to stay at this location in the future. Siesta key is a great area with lots of fun places to eat and beautiful beaches so we will definitely be returning in the future.

Rental was clean and updated. AC worked great. Love the coastal decor. Property was well kept. Liked that they rake the sand early in the morning and had chair attendants to help bring complimentary lounge chairs down to the beach for you. Everyone was friendly. We highly recommend and can't wait to be back.

It was a chilly and rainy week, so we traveled all over the area and used it as a home. We did not use any of the facilities, but did go to the beach. The beach is very clean and beautiful. Everyone was friendly. The sign where we turn onto property has a burnt out light and difficult to see where to turn. If we had known the area, we probably would’ve stayed closer to the village where the shopping and restaurants are.

The staff was friendly and helpful, we liked seeing a security presence around the grounds, the pools were nice, and the beach was BEAUTIFUL! Our unit was beautiful and clean. Staff notified us at check-in that one of the shower doors was scheduled to be fixed that week but was usable. It was not an issue having maintenance fix it during the week. The only inconvenience was that the location of the unit overlooks one of the pools and the crowd could be a bit noisy at night when we were trying to go to bed (9:00 or so). I used a sound machine in the mast bedroom to drown out the noise and it was fine. We were grateful that a cooler and beach wagon were provided. We definitely plan to return!

Kitchen was stocked with things we needed for cooking (especially skillets). Loved the amenities including pickleballl and the free use of resort lounge chairs and that someone brought these to us in the morning for setting up. Our biggest complaint was the rowdy and mound teens who took over the bayside pool at night starting around 8pm- they threw glass bottles and drank and put feet in the hot tub - essentially intimidating the adults and young kids. Security didn’t do much unless we called and even then they weren’t consistent or turned the other way. Loud partygoers in the condo behind us (different condos) also kept us up at night (sometimes until 1pm).

Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Palm Bay Club the week between Christmas and New Year's and the 3rd time in this unit.A few things that were disappointing this year were:-Felt like hot water in the unit never got very hot for showers-New laundry app more expensive-Beach chair situation worse than ever. Palm Bay Club does not have enough chairs for all guests, so you have to get up early in the morning to try to reserve. Very stressful and defeats the whole purpose of being on vacation. Many parties were reserving 12-15 chairs at a time which obviously limits amount other guests can use. Palm Bay should limit to 4-6 chairs per unit or purchase more chairs for guests.

Great stay!

We had a great trip to siesta key. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Our kids loved the pools. It was very nice having the beautiful beach so close by. The beach is incredible and not too crowded (compared to the public beach). Being able to hop on the trolly into town is super convenient! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Condo for a getaway to Paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to PBC for 8+ yrs & have always stayed in the Club Suites. This was the 1st year i would say that the property showed some signs deferred maintenance. But that did not change the wonderful time we had. Staff is friendly & attentive. We s/w the GM, France on multiple occasions. He was always visible & present on the property.1 suggestion would be regarding checking in & room availability.Check in is @ 4pm & the office closes @ 5pm, maybe have 1 of the office staff start later & stay later til 6 or 7pm. Just a suggestion.My only issue on this visit was the door to our unit was damaged, we reported it & nothing was addressed.We have recommended many friends & family to stay at the PBC.
