Ready to surround yourself in nature? You will wake up to enjoy beautiful sunrises and peekaboo views of Lake Whatcom in the distance. This is truly a place to relax & unwind. If the outdoors is your thing, we have multiple trails around our home. Our home is a tri-level cabin with private rooms on each level. As superhosts we have designed our space to be functional as well as inviting. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to be unbelievably cozy with super plush beds for the best nights sleep. Our kitchen is fully equipped for all of the necessities you would find at home to prepare an awesome dinner with family/friends. We are surrounded by lots of wildlife, trees & ferns creating a view that never gets old.

Our cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. You won’t want to leave!

The cabin was nice, the deck outside. looks like it needs work. The beds were very comfortable, the lower basement level was very cold. I would recommend a thorough cleaning of the dish washer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Family Getawsy

We stayed with my brother and niece. Its was the most beautiful setting with lots of outdoor activities very close. The place was very clean. Each bedroom gave privacy for each couple. The suggestion I had was to include a couple more hand tiwels and wash clothes as well as dish towels. Not enough for each person.

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed a lovely stay in this little gem. The house was spotless, nicely furnished and inviting. I needed to reach out to the property owner and they responded right away and answered all my questions. The cabin is in a pretty, quiet neighborhood.

Great Cabin in Nature

Clean and well-appointed cabin tucked away in a woods full of deer. Peaceful and tranquil with a remote feeling despite not being too far from neighbors and civilization. Great loft and comfy living space. Would stay again!

Amazing stay!

Absolutely loved our stay in Sudden Valley! Such a beautiful place surrounded by massive trees. Peaceful surroundings. The place was clean with lots of supplies. Would definitely recommend!

We purchased this home as a getaway for our family as well as the fact that two of our older kids fell in love with Bellingham & moved there. We found this magical cabin in the woods & were able to look past the ugliness to create something beautiful for ourselves & our guests. We share our time between Flagstaff, AZ & now WA. We are self-employed as full time photographers as well. We have had the privilege of traveling a lot with our business & always use home rentals. In doing this we know what we would want as guests and have put every little detail into our homes for YOU!
