About Richard Alexander
My son Devon and I own Kays Kabin. We live in Chattanooga Tn. My late mother Kaye Perry bought this property in 1998. In Dec. 2007 we tore down the'old' cabin and had Rocky Mtn. Builders-Adam Gilreath and Chris Steele build this new one.I highley recommend them as they are my good friends now. We have a tile business so we were able to do lots of work ourselves. This is our 'Dream Cabin' that we visit at least once a month, with our family and friends. When I try to tell people about Suches, it's hard to put it into words. This place is special, the people are unbelievably friendly. Everyone who comes here loves it and wants to come back. We hope you will too. Thanks for your inquiry! Richard
Richard Alexander purchased this Cabin in 2008
What makes this Cabin unique
The Cabin benefits: Appalachian Trail just out the front door. The Hammock, I can't explain it, you just have to experience it yourself. Memories made around 'The Fire Pit', and early morning coffee while gazing at the fish are unique benefits that our cabin offers.
Please ask the owner or check their rental agreement when booking the property.
Beautiful cabin! Nice, quiet and peaceful
Glad I brought my Firestick
As a group of friends who have known each other about 40+ years, my friends and I had a great time visiting in the mountains and we are already planning our next vacation together! The views are gorgeous and the people in the area were very nice and hospitable. We even got to see our first bear cub on our way down the mountain. We might have turned around if we had seen it on the way up. 😂 ! Would definitely recommend coming to “Kays Kabin “ if the refrigerator and TV issues are resolved and the owner has assured me that he has already taken steps toward getting them taken care of. The cabin is beautiful and we would have given the entire experience 5 stars if the refrigerator and TVs were all operational. I’m just glad I brought my Firestick and happy that at least the freezer side of the refrigerator worked so that our food didn’t spoil. As I mentioned before, if the TV and refrigerator issues are resolved, you can’t go wrong renting this beautiful cabin.
This was the perfect location for us! We were supporting some Boy Scout hiking on the AT. This provided them a perfect place just off the trail to stop and relax for a couple hours before they continued on their way.
The cabin is lovely, perfect location for hiking trails, close to State Parks, wineries and shopping in Dahlonega. We did have some rain while we were there and the cabin is so cozy with the rain on the roof and the tranquility of the many trees around. We look forward to staying there again. The owner is quick to respond when you call him and helpful with anything you need.
The cabin was just as described! Beautiful!!! Our family loved the mountain drive to the cabin and surrounding cities. (Helen, Dahlonega, Blairsville, Cleveland) Having a cup of coffee or hot tea on the back porch in the cool mountain air was perfect! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!
Beautiful cabin and property. Everything was great
