Cabin was beautiful! And spotless! Was worried at first about the proximity of the neighbors, but we never heard a thing! Came for peace and quiet and that’s what we got.
We had a great weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Richard ,the host, was accommodating and make a special request come true. We will be back!
Beautiful cozy cabin with thoughtful layout and kind host. Very pleased with our stay and highly recommend. Great location, just a short trip to Helen and Dahlonega where we were able to enjoy the Christmas festivities.
It was truly a great place. The winding roadway was not our favorite, but seemed to be the norm for the area. If you are in a car be careful of the entrance. We backed into the 2nd entrance dur to the drop off. Loved the fire pit. Plenty of kitchen tools for staying in and cooking
This was definitely our favorite vacation ever! The cabin was beautiful and was decorated for Christmas! It had everything that we needed and even had games for us to play. We arrived about an hour early and met the housekeeping staff. They were super nice and were able to give us directions to places to eat before our check-in. We will definitely return!
This is a very nice home in a beautiful location. It’s very peaceful, and we enjoyed feeding the trout in the pond. We would definitely stay there again.
This was the perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is beautiful, and it was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. There were plenty of cooking supplies and extra blankets. We had six people (4 adults and 2 kids), and everyone had a comfortable place to sit in both the living room and kitchen (and out by the fire pit). Everyone said their bed was comfortable, which is rare in cabins. We also took advantage of the fact that the Appalachian Trail went right by the house. They say it’s a ten minute walk to it. It’s more like 3. It was shockingly close. And it’s a part of the trail with lots of great views (not just walled in by trees for miles like sections closer to Springer Mountain). We’re definitely planning on staying here again!
The cabin was beautiful and very clean. However, the details on the website are VERY miss leading. There is NO mountain view, the fishing pind is is very small with only 4 trout and NO Fishing. The stream in back is the run off from the pond and had no water, and there is no yard for kids to play. If your looking for a cabin in the woods with neighbors close by this is the perfect place.
We were there to attend a wedding. This cabin was 5 minutes from the venue. It was clean and the pond was a big hit with my kids. I will visit again

About the host

My son Devon and I own Kays Kabin. We live in Chattanooga Tn. My late mother Kaye Perry bought this property in 1998. In Dec. 2007 we tore down the old cabin and had Rocky Mtn. Builders-Adam Gilreath and Chris Steele build this new one. I highly recommend them as they are my good friends now. We have a tile business so we were able to do lots of work ourselves. This is our 'Dream Cabin' that we visit at least once a month, with our family and friends. When I try to tell people about Suches, it's hard to put it into words. This place is special, the people are unbelievably friendly. Everyone who comes here loves it and wants to come back. We hope you will too. Thanks for your inquiry! Richard
Why they chose this property
What makes this property unique
The Cabin benefits: Appalachian Trail just out the front door. The Hammock, I can't explain it, you just have to experience it yourself. Memories made around 'The Fire Pit', and early morning coffee while gazing at the fish are unique benefits that our cabin offers.
