Rainbow Mountain Retreat in the heart of Maggie Valley with a large covered deck with a hot tub overlooking a bold trout stream. Easy walk to to Bearwaters Bistro creekside brewery and Joeys Pancake House. Easy walk to Bear Waters Brewery and Bistro and Joeys Pancake House. Close to Waynesville, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Lake Junaluska, Cherokee, Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smokies National Park and Asheville. Super comfortable and will sleep 9 people. There is a living room with fireplace with gas logs. 2 Master Suites with King size beds. Bonus Room/Den has a triple twin bunk bed and queen size sofa sleeper. Stocked Kitchen with a Keurig, regular coffee maker, plus a Latte machine. Sit on the Covered Porch and look at the Mountains or take a nap on the swing. Board Games and Playing Cards included. As a Four Seasons home, you have close access to Cataloochee Ski Resort and golfing at Maggie Valley Country Club. Activities include fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, shopping, viewing the elk, etc. Wireless internet and satellite tv. One car garage with interior access to the house and garage door opener.

Mountain Retreat Vacation

Loved this house! The view from the front porch swing is what sold me. Interior furnishings a little dated, but very clean. Very accessible to main roads. Easy parking.Quiet neighborhood. I used the house as a base for visiting Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Biltmore, Asheville, Nantahala Outdoor Center. All a short drive.

Unfortunately our time in Maggie coincided with Hurricane Helene’s devastation in WNC. The only issues we had were we lost internet services and water for over a day, which were storm related and no fault of the owner

Very nice

This house was in a great location and the views were nice. I only gave it 4 stars because the temperature was hard to regulate throughout the house. At night, it would be freezing in one room but very hot in another.

The house was very outdated .., the kitchen was extremely outdated. Tv didn’t work. Bathroom only in bedroom so the 3rd room had to wake up people to use restrooms at night. Would definitely choose a different property in future.

Beautiful location for Great Smoky Mt Getaway

The home is in great condition and we LOVED the front deck, where you can relax to the music of the creek that runs through Maggie Valley, right across the neighborhood street. It was more peaceful, being in a neighborhood, than we anticipated. My 13 year old animal lover really enjoyed watching the family of groundhogs that live across the road. They climbed up in the rocker on the porch of that house like they owned it! So cute. The property managers were super nice. We discovered a miscommunication issue at check-in, and they did everything in their power to make it right, also providing lots of good advice on local hikes and bluegrass music opportunities, two things we were wanting to enjoy. If we ever get the chance to come back to the area, this home would be our first choice to return to!

Negative issues

The property was beautiful but we had a lot of issues with the house broken washer,overflow of the dishwasher leak in the bathroom sink and the toilet ran a lot had to constantly take the lid off to stop it,so I asked the manager to please compensate or adjust our payment but haven’t heard back from her yet

We take all concerns seriously and address them promptly. Our maintenance team did conduct a full check prior to your arrival, but unfortunately, as is sometimes the case, appliances can malfunction unexpectedly. That said, we responded to your concerns within minutes and worked swiftly to resolve the issues — the dishwasher and toilet were both repaired the same day. Regarding the price adjustment due to washer, we did need to seek approval from the property owner before issuing a refund, and we made sure to keep you informed during that process. Ultimately, a refund was processed as a gesture of goodwill and acknowledgment of the inconvenience. While we did everything in our power to make things right, we understand your perspective, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Third stay at this property. Access to the garage is a must-have for us with the motorcycle which is why we keep coming back! The hot tub was an unexpected surprise. We sure did enjoy it!
