Beautiful stay

Great Week

Very clean property, great communication with the property owner and a very good location. Quiet cabin, super clean, and the Elk showed up close by every day. Our family truly enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer. It was a great week and we will be staying here again.

Had an excellent time in Maggie valley. Had some rain but we didn’t really mind staying at our little slice of luxury. The owners made everything super easy.

Cabin in Maggie Valley

My family and I had a great stay here! It was clean and cozy, central to everything, and we had a treat of viewing elk every afternoon! The town had a 4th of July celebration and fireworks. Although we went into town for this, we could see them from the cabin! The host was very responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful!

This was a lovely property. It's was perfect for our family of 3. The scenery was beautiful and we had the pleasure of seeing the elk in the neighborhood. The host was wonderful with communication and willing to help you out. I know we will go back and stay here again in the future.

Perfect 4 day weekend

Smoky Bear Cabin

Smoky Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our family! The open floorplan was great for family time and meal prep. We enjoyed meals on the big front porch while watching Elk in the field. One even strolled in front of the porch and we were able to get a great video and pictures. We felt right at home...beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Our host, Brandon, is great and we plan to come back. Thank you, Brandon!

Much needed getaway

Highly recommend, clean, easy to get too. Mountain views paved road and in great community. The house itself was amazing. We had everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean. The view was amazing. The porch was fabulous. We really loved how pet friendly they are. I highly recommend this house. We will be back.

Perfect holiday weekend

The cabin was more than expected! Clean home, comfortable beds and wonderful location. We enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings sitting on the porch. We also enjoyed walking the paved road through the development. We saw Elk in the field near the cabin. We ate at several excellent restaurants but we also enjoyed cooking breakfast and grilling steaks for dinner. We look forward to staying at the cabin again in the near future.

Perfect Home away from Home!

We loved this cabin so much in 2022 that we returned this year. The cabin is very clean, the beds and furniture are so comfortable, and the location is so nice. We love walking the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the owner was great before and during our stay. He checked in with us everyday to make sure all was well. The location is really great. We headed in a different direction everyday. Love going on hikes and searching for waterfalls. The only thing that we didn’t like about our stay was that it was not long enough!! We plan to correct that in the future. Thanks, Brandon, for making it possible.

Brandon was a great host! We had a problem with the microwave, he had a new one delivered to the house that same day! The home is clean and cozy, setting in a beautiful walkable neighborhood. WiFi was strong with no signal dropping out. We will most definitely be returning to stay at Smokey Bear Cabin again

Beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors! Elk close-by! Great location to enjoy Maggie Valley, Cherokee and Lake Junalaska. Publix about 15 min away. Great wrap-around porch to sit out and relax. Loved the mountain decor. Check-in simple! Outstanding communication with host! Surrounded by the beauty of the mountains without having to drive up steep mountains. Loved our stay and appreciated being able to bring our two small dogs!

I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my wife, our 3 children and our dog. WE LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! It’s just under a 3-hour drive for us from Charlotte to Maggie Valley and we are over there every chance we get. Anytime the kids have no school on a Monday or Friday we are there for a 3-day weekend…doesn’t matter the time of year. The Maggie Valley / Waynesville area is the perfect location for anything you could want to do outdoors. Endless hiking, awesome waterfalls, tubing (snow & river), rafting, fishing, playing in the creeks, snowboarding & skiing, apple picking and on and on. Our family loves to be outdoors with nature every chance we get. What started with 1 vacation rental home in 2014 has now grown to 7. I personally manage all the listings, bookings and communication between guests to ensure an awesome trip. Any questions, comments, concerns or issues I am always available by phone, text or e-mail.

Smoky Bear Cabin is located in Crocketts Meadow, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Maggie Valley. It's low down with extremely easy access to the house including a large driveway. Smoky Bear Cabin is a true log cabin with two master bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The home has a great covered porch that extends along the front and side of the house. Elk often frequent the area in the evening and will walk right through the yard. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a great mountain vacation. This house has been a vacation rental since 2015 with over 200 5-star reviews.
