The hosts were amazing, the house was perfect, the Lake was beautiful. Plenty of room for our group, and every amenity one could wish for. Any time we gad a question we had a reply within minutes. We all would highly recommend.

Work retreat

Was a great place to stay with several other adults. We all had plenty of room to spread out as well as lots of great hang out options. Loved the multiple decks and the pool/pong pong table! Would definitely stay here again

This is the perfect house for a work group to stay

This was our 2nd year to stay at this house during the Western North Carolina Annual Conference. Our work staff rents this home, and it is perfect for a work group. It is spacious, and offers enough space for everyone to spread out and have some privacy when needed. But also has great areas for everyone to convene, eat, etc. We hope to make it 3 years in a row at next year's Annual Conference!

Beautiful Views

The house was great with beautiful views, several levels of porches. Space to spread out. The lake and the sidewalk around the lake was very scenic. Liked the convenience of Food Lion about 5 minutes away. Cooked a lot. Resort amenities are not included. There is not a sandy area with swimming in the lake. The pool was nice 10 per person per day. Pickle ball was the hit of the week and we brought our own paddles. Otherwise you can rent equipment. The mini golf needs a make over.

Lots to do in the area and the home had plenty of space for our family to visit and hang out. Team members are amazing, friendly, and very helpful. As stated above, we had a few problems and their response was quick and they took care of everything, and followed up to make sure everything was okay.

I have said more than you needed to hear. I understand that Rick is checking out other properties for our '22 event. Previously, I was told I would receive a refund for the Hot tub fee. I also feel there should be a reasonable reimbursement for the property not being as expected. Contacts relating to this visit was with Paula - she was very helpful and attempted to deal with our issues. I understand my son communicated with Rick Border - he was appreciative of Rick's concern and effort to help.

Wonderful stay

Property was everything we expected and more - clean and spacious with a great view. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to enjoy. The only drawback was the steep driveway. You better make sure you are lined up properly before you start your decline because you can't see the driveway until you take that first drop.
