Luxurious Mountain Retreat for the Discerning Traveler
The beauty and serenity of the western North Carolina Mountains never fails to fill visitors with joy and peace. We purchased our own three acres of heaven and built a luxurious Guest House so we can share the mountain experience with you.
The Guest House sleeps 4 with two queen beds. The house has been designed for maximum relaxation and pampering. Situated on the bold creek that runs through the property, every room opens onto a 46’ covered deck that overlooks the creek. You can open large sliding glass doors to let the relaxing sound of the creek fill the house or wander out onto the deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sunshine.
Careful consideration went into every aspect of our Guest House accommodations. There are two comfortable master bedroom suites with inviting private baths. Relax in the central great-room in front of an evening fire. The gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops is a weekend chef’s delight!
We have furnished and outfitted the Guest House to please even the most discerning traveler. You will enjoy comfortable queen beds with smooth linens and full pillows. Large ensuite baths with soft towels and complimentary soaps and shampoos. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a romantic dinner, hearty breakfast or picnic lunch to take on a hike. The living room has comfortable seating in front of a wood-burning fireplace and large, Smart TV. Out on the deck, there are relaxing rockers where you can put your feet up and enjoy a good book. For summer nights, there is a great fire pit situated in a bend of the creek.
While The Guest House offers a peaceful and private retreat, it is close to everything that makes western North Carolina so appealing as a vacation getaway. Outdoor adventures abound. Take an invigorating hike or rafting trip, a leisurely walk around Lake Junaluska or experience zip-lining through the scenic forest. Enjoy casual or upscale dining and delightful shopping in charming downtown Waynesville, just five minutes away. Drive 30 minutes to Asheville for more dining and shopping opportunities or to visit the always incredible Biltmore Estate.
The house is easily accessible and available year-round. We invite you to relax and re-energize at our North Carolina Guest House. We’re sure you will fall in love with the magic of these glorious mountains!

Had a relaxing time listening to the stream from the deck and living room , plenty of parking for motorcycle trailer , enjoyed riding on the blue ridge parkway and all other roads in the area
Location close to restaurants and all other essentials
Excellent and relaxed, I loved the way the owners welcomed us with a card, wine and a Christmas tree. The place is very quiet. To spend it as a family with my dog.
Absolutely loved our stay! The Guest House was perfect from the time we walked in! Very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved the large back deck with the creek flowing through the property was so serene. Enjoyed the evenings with the doors open and the soothing sound of the creek. We had our black lab with us and she loved getting in the cool water of the creek and hanging out in the yard. The house has all the amenities that you need for a relaxing, stress free stay! The host, Peg was great with communication regarding our stay...she was so kind and even provided a bottle of wine and dog treats for Mattie!

Magical Setting in a Luxurious Home The pictures do not the outdoors, creek and home justice. We spent 3 comfortable and relaxing nights listening to the rushing waters just 20 feet from the back porch.

I am so glad you found the property to be Magical! I often use that term when describing where we live in Western NC.
Thank you for staying with us. Hope you will return!
My mother and I thought that this was perfect. Mom wished that we could transport the house and surroundings to every destination we traveled to. It was the perfect size for us. The house was close to everything. The home came with high standard items. Going to sleep and waking up next to a stream I cannot find enough words to describe the serene setting. Peg was very accommodating from the check-in to any questions we had along the way. We would most definitely stay here again

Thank you,

We could not have been happier with our stay. The guest house was very comfortable and the location can't be beat. The location was very convenient for going into town, and heading out for day trips and hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sitting on the screen porch along side the creek was so relaxing.

My sister and I swept our mom away for her 81st birthday! This by far exceeded our expectations. This property was a literal piece of heaven. We were able to disconnect from all of the day-to-day stresses of every day life and just be! The Guest House was immaculate! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and sharing your sweet place with us!

Why they chose this property
We purchased three acres in Waynesville 22 years ago when we came to the mountains for a long weekend. We fell in love with the area and knew right then that this is where we wanted to settle some day. When we first saw the property and the amazing creek that runs through it, we could not resist making an offer. We have lived and traveled all over the United States and we have never found an area we love more. We built the Guest House eight years ago with a plan to build our permanent home next door when we turned 60.
What makes this property unique
We designed and built the Guest House to be a well-appointed, luxurious and comfortable retreat for friends, family and guests like you who want to escape for a vacation in the glorious North Carolina mountains. It is designed to take full advantage of the creek setting. The two master bedroom suites are perfect for two couples traveling together. With a sleeper sofa and additional half bath, the Guest House can sleep six and can easily accommodate a young family. Couples will find the Guest House perfect for a romantic getaway!
