As others mentioned before, you need front or AWD to drive the final road there. I don't recommend doing it on the dark. But it's worth the drive! Pros: there is a wonderful private waterfall scene from the back porch. The jacuzzi is a nice romantic touch! It's a great cabin to stay at! Plenty of towels and blankets, well stocked kitchen, and good TV & internet service. Hot water within seconds, but bring your own drinking water. You should know beforehand: the falls are not safe for exploring, so don't let kids and pets loose. Also, it's a cabin in the woods, so expect to see and hear critters. Especially some mammals in the walls and on the roof, at night, but thankfully never entering the cabin. The waterfall is a steady trickle, so it could dry up if it hasn't rained in a while. And the spiral stairs are neat, but may be a challenge for larger or older guests. We recommend it and would stay again.
It was a amazing place the waterfalls qere awsome. Very quite area away from everyone. The cabin qan beautiful place .lots things to do there to hiking and enjoying mother nature. We will be back again
My wife and I fell in love with this place the second we pulled up to it. It is pretty secluded and the waterfall was amazing! We will definitely be coming back to this cabin
The cabin itself was exactly what i wanted. Issues: no waterfall and appears not to have been active for a while. This was my primary reason for choosing it. It also takes a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get down the 3 mile gravel driveway. Not a problem for us, we had 4 wheel drive, but it was a rough rode.
Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon. It was an amazing getaway for us to escape everything else and focus on each other. Cozy, secluded, and beautiful.
We stayed during a rainy valentines weekend. We got to watch the trickle of the water turn into a powerful spectacle of breathtaking beauty. 100% recommend to couples seeking a quiet romantic getaway. Private from the other cabins in the area. You’ll sleep like a baby with the waterfall sounds echoing through the cabin.
It rained the whole time we were there but the view and the waterfall was breathtaking. Definitely coming back next year. Only bad thing is how small the down stairs toilet was and the washing machine had old water in it so we didnt use it. But outside of those couple things. Beautiful
Perfect place to enjoy nature, sit in peace & create some art. Breathtaking view, felt like a child again playing outside. Would love to come back! Thank god I had a Subaru haha! Definitely need a all wheel drive vehicle
