Welcome to Hillside Loft Cabin just minutes from downtown Campton, KY! Hillside Loft is tucked away in the trees so you can feel secluded but stay near town. Relax and listen to the sounds of nature on the covered porch. Head over to the hot tub for a soak while gazing up at the stars. Hillside Loft Cabin is the perfect retreat for couples. If you would like to venture out of your cozy space, Natural Bridge State Park and the famous Nada Tunnel are only a 20-minute drive away.

- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee maker, microwave, oven), hot tub, California king bed (new mattress as of August 2023), Direct TV, HVAC, washer/dryer, covered deck with outdoor furniture, charcoal grill and more!
- Sleeping Arrangements: Loft: California King Bed
- One full bathroom
- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.)
- Please note that a 4-wheel drive is strongly recommended. The cabin is located up a steep hill. Limited parking; vehicles exceeding 2 please park at the local park and ride and carpool to the cabin. Trailers prohibited.
- Prime Red River Gorge location - Close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sight-seeing, restaurants, and much more.
- Larger groups? This cabin is located on a private drive within walking distance of four other cabins; Hidden Chalet, Eclectic Hillside Cabin, Whispering Winds and Sunrise Cabin.

Clean property. There was not a hair dryer and had to contact house keeping to get one despite it being present on the amenities list on the listing. The only blanket provided was the comforter on the bed. Limited laundry washing supplies. We were provided one wash pod. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt it was lacking some amenities to make the stay more comfortable.

Had a great time at this cabin, it was very well kept and clean when we checked into it. Everything was easily accessible. It was a good place to come to after hiking in the Gorge.

Felt Like Home

Quickly, this little cabin felt like a home away from home for my husband and I. We took a little weekend away and we felt like it was a relaxing, beautiful couple's retreat for us! The hot tub was used a ton, the coffee table was great for puzzles, the location was close to Campton which had some great eating options & stores. Would definitely go back!

This cabin made for a great quiet weekend! We really enjoyed the campfire and looking at the stars the first evening. The secind night was a little too chilly for a fire, but the hot tub kept us bice and warm! The tv had a nice selection of movies to watch. Didn't have great cell service, but it was very nice to enjoy quiet time!

Really sketchy roads to get to the house. It was difficult to get the Pilot up the driveway. Gorgeous property with wonderful heating. The location was very nice. Hot tub was warmed and ready for us.

Decent cabin

Nice little cabin. It meets the basic needs and necessities. Pros: hot tub, California king bed Cons: cabin smelled as if someone prior had smoked in it and housekeepers had sprayed stuff to mask the smell, you have to use a lockbox to get the key out to enter every time- it would be nice to have a code entry door knob, poor water pressure, bed very firm and springy, had to pick other peoples hair out of bed linens.

Cabin rental

The cabin was just as pictured and it was great! Of note a few items that would have been helpful to know: the drive up to the house is very steep and there is a big pot hole in the middle of the road so my little civic was battling, there were no extra blankets on the property other than the ones on the bed which would have been fine if we came in June but we came in January and the thermostat couldn’t get above 67 and there was a draft along with a window being left open prior to arrival. Also, if you go bring your own coffee for the coffee pot as I was surprised to see no coffee either. Otherwise the place was gorgeous l, affordable, and we loved the hot tub!

Cute little cabin with good location

This cabin is conveniently located for day hikes to the southern portion of Red River Gorge and natural bridge. Just big enough for a couple or small family. Our two small kids slept on the couch and chair. The hot tub was not working during our stay which was a major bummer. We were told ahead of time and we were not offered a discount which would have been nice. I must warn others that the king bed is horribly worn with a valley in the middle and curling edges. If you need a good bed, look elsewhere. Overall, we were satisfied since this place given the price.

We arrived a day late, (our fault). 1. The hot tub lid is very old and waterlogged and was so heavy and smelled like mold. Hot tub test strips were just discarded on the ground over the deck. 2. The front deck was infested with hornets in the rafters, we couldnt seat out there.Everywhere. 3. The toilet seat is wood. We only stayed one night. I just think a little more cleanliness and attention to detail could be used.

The room was not ready when we got there. We had to wait till 530 to get in and it wasn’t very clean surface cleaned. Not sure if the bed sheepsheets were changed.

The cabin could have been cleaner. A lot of dead bees by the windows, cobwebs, spider webs. The bathtub should absolutely be replaced. Also, the road to the cabin is terrible. Deeply rutted and caused our car to bottom out. That should also be repaired. They were receptive to our complaints. That being said, the management folks were very helpful when my husband left his iPad behind. The housekeeper found it and then overnighted it to us. So that I really appreciated. The property just needs some attention to make it more desirable.

Nice Cabin *Motorcycles Beware of Driveway*

The property/cabin itself is nice and private, the bed is huge and very comfortable! Hot tub is nice although the lights didn't work. My biggest complaint is the driveway, it is horrible getting up the hill. There's a section of it where it seems like someone just dumped blacktop and didn't take the time to smooth it out, then covered it in gravel so it is VERY uneven. It's also very steep and my stock height Volvo was scraping on the way down. I wouldn't choose this cabin if you're on a motorcycle or lowered vehicle. Other than that it was fantastic and my partner & I had a wonderful weekend!

Our 30th Anniversary

Over all this was a good place to stay. The amenities were as advertised. The bed was comfortable. Although, it did get a little warn in the loft area, but that is to be expected. We only had a few "complaints" i guess you could say. More so just observations. The first thing i noticed is there was no lighting on the steps going up to the porch. It was very dark at night and very hard to see. Next, the inside of the cabin could use some updating. Not a huge deal. My biggest issue was the couch and chair were stained and sticky to the touch due to the type of material it was. The furniture definitely needs to be cleaned and/or covered at the very least. If not replaced. It is old and very broken in. The only other thing i could suggest is maybe an awning of some sort over the hot tub to keep things from dropping out of the trees. Other than that, the property is great. We did enjoy our stay though. We actually tried to stay an extra night, but it was already booked. I would probably go back. Thanks for having us.

Great getaway

This was a wonderful cabin. Its a great cabin for a couple to get away from the city. It is quiet and very peaceful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great to relax in. The temperature was already set perfectly for us. The only thing that we wished it had was wifi.
