Six adults, staying 4 nights.
We'd stayed here before, about 4 years ago, so no surprises, and we wouldn't have returned if we hadn't had a good experience.
We'd certainly go again!

Hi thanks so much for the review & I’m really pleased you enjoyed Watermill Cottage, its location etc.
Had a lovely stay in water mill cottage ,lovely cottage great location ,had everything we needed and more, nice pub just up the road ,would definitely stay again .it did help that the weather was gorgeous 10/10 top marks
Great position and the cottage had plenty of space. A little dubious about the property having received a “deep clean”. Eg. we found some clothing presumably left by previous guests in our wardrobe.

Hi Barrie, thank you for your comments. I will follow this up with our cleaning team as a matter of urgency as they have a very detailed cleaning protocol to follow, spending at least an additional 2 hours per clean ensuring for example all kitchen equipment, cutlery & crockery are rewashed, all high frequency touch points are cleaned etc. This is something we take very seriously and I will ensure this gets looked into. Best wishes, Alison
Loved the cottage. The open living area was great for a group of friends/family to enjoy time together. The garden area was also really good. Very nice quality garden furniture in a private peaceful setting. The area is great for exploring the island. The local pub was very friendly and reasonable prices for drinks too. There were a few cobwebs but it’s an old property and it was spider season! Would recommend.
We had a lovely week at this property. The outdoor space was amazing and everything inside was well equipped. We did have a ninth member of our party who we had paid an extra £140 for- the sofa bed had a very poor quality mattress, we needed to provide our own bedding and towel for them and then there was not a ninth chair for them at the table. Lovely property- but definitely for 8 not 8+2.

Relaxing week away
Just returned from a wonderful week spent at Watermill Cottage.Excellent location - perfect for exploring Anglesey. The cottage was lovely - well maintained, clean and tidy, facilities were great - it had everything you needed for a home from home experience . We visited many different places - beaches at Church Bay, Benllech, Moelfre, Newborough,Rhosneigr,Rhoscolyn(great rock pools !)and beach at RAF Valley which was great and the children loved watching the jets take off ! Went to Beaumaris Castle and to Portmerion too.
Owner very helpful with the booking ,directions ,info etc. Will definitely recommend this property to friends and family . We hope to return soon.
Thank You
This property was exactly what we were looking for as a home base to relax with family and enjoy the surrounding area. The location is central to to explore Anglesey and the gardens in front and behind the house are lush and gorgeous. We enjoyed the views and lovely sunsets most evenings. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The home is well equiped with a spacious open kitchen overlooking the front room. The home has a modern and updated feel to it. The bedrooms were comfortable and on site bathrooms perfect for separate families occuping the space. Our communication with the owner was easy and very pleasant. Overall our stay to Angelsey was absolutely wonderful and this home was certainly a large piece of what made it great. Thank you! And the horse who lives in the field across was a absolute delight to watch.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review, we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Alison
We had a lovely time in this very nice cottage. The open plan lounge/kitchen was perfect for a group of friends. The setting on the edge of the village overlooking fields was also lovely, we even sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine on a sunny day in October. I would highly recommend this cottage it was perfect for a weekend getaway.
We were supposed to stay in April 2020 but unable because of lockdown. 2021 stay also cancelled. Finally managed it in 2022! Well worth the wait. A lovely cosy property with plenty of room for 6 adults. We followed the sun around the garden lots of places to sit and relax. Quiet area with countryside views and a very friendly horse in the field in front of the property. Have never stayed in Anglesey before and this was the perfect place to stay and explore the island. Would definitely recommend and return.
We had a fab time at Watermill Cottage.
Lovely and spacious, great facilities, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and very cosy….a real home from home.
Only downside was poor wifi, but suspect this is a village thing, rather than cottage specific and hey, we were on holiday, so doesn’t really matter!
The cottage was realy nice furnishings were very comfortable inside and out ,the patio was a sun trap 😎 we had a lovely break much needed ,I would fully recommend this cottage book it and enjoy .Parkinson &Noonan family.
Great choice of location as it is a short drive to so many places… beaches, restaurants, shops etc. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped, lots of space and worked well for a 2 week break away from it all. Only slight downside was it wasn’t quite as spotlessly clean as previous reviews have said it was, but nothing that would put me off booking again in the future. Alison was very helpful and responsive, a great host. Definitely would recommend.

Thanks so much for your review. I’ll message you regarding the standard of cleaning as I wasn’t aware there were any issues and I’m keen to ensure this is addressed with our cleaning team. Thanks Alison
We had a lovely stay at the cottage over the Christmas period. A Christmas tree had been set up for us ahead of our arrival so it felt festive as soon as we got in. The house was cosy and clean, with all the amenities in good working order. Thr central location was perfect to discover Anglesey. Alison was very helpful and we definitely plan to come back to experience the cottage in different seasons as it must also be stunning in the summer.
