Fantastic Views in east Boulder and Friendly Resident Owners

Our lovely pet free, no stairs, 1200 sf, Fully licensed (Boulder County STR-22-0017), garden level apartment located on the East side of Boulder has spectacular views of Boulder and the Rocky Mountain Continental divide. Our totally separate apartment (not shared with anyone) has an open dining, living and full kitchen that bring the outdoors in, are a compliment to the large bedrooms with one king and two twin beds. No stairs at the entry, a one level layout and wide doorways lend itself to being wheelchair accessible, but counter/sink heights are not ADA compliant. It is totally private with its own entrance, off street parking, heating, AC system, Wifi, full size laundry, BBQ, outside table/chairs with view of Boulder and the Rockies.

We have lived in Colorado most of our lives and are very willing to share with you information on points of interest in and around Boulder and Colorado. We are avid hikers, down-hill and skiers and cyclists. Boulder City has E Bikes for rent to use on it 300 miles (75 miles off road) of bicycle lanes and multi-use paths are available to enjoy. Walking the foothills and prairie opens views to birds, evergreen trees or rock climbers.

This is one of the best properties I’ve stayed in. Reed and Carol have thought of every way to make their place comfortable and feel like a home away from home. Very convenient to everything, in a darling neighborhood and it still felt remotely away from the crowds. I will definitely return!

Great place for our Colorado getaway

This was an ideal place for my family's Colorado vacation. This was a quieter/rural part of Boulder that we enjoyed, yet it was close for our day trips to Denver, Estes Park, and Idaho Falls. The owners were friendly and obviously take great pride in offering a nice VRBO for families. It was nearly perfect. Our only suggestion would be a new mattress for the master bedroom.

Lovely location with all the amenities of home!

Reed and Carol are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything we could possible need. We had a surprise visit from our son and his daughter for two nights. Reed and Carol didn’t bat an eye when we mentioned they would spend a couple nights with us. They made a special effort to meet us after we had settled in for a few days. The property is very private and has a spectacular view of the Rockies. We hope to return again next time we’re in Boulder!

Another incredible visit

We absolutely love this property and wish it was available every time we came to Boulder to visit our CU student. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is well equipped with everything we need to make it feel like a home away from home. Carol and Reed are terrific and very responsive to any question. 5+ star rating!!!!

Very nice and practical

Clean, nice, nice view, nice owners. Short hike and jogging possible directly from house. Near bike path, near public transport (2 frequently served bus lines). Nearest food store about 1.5 miles.

Great Location, Even Better Home

Quiet location nestled in Southeast Boulder with a view, your stay here will feel like home. All of your needs attended to, a home away from home. P.S. Use the fan when cooking! During my stay food was warming up in the oven, with no visible smoke, and suddenly the smoke detectors all went off. They must be very sensitive. So use the fan! Haha.

Cozy and inviting ground level unit. Perfect place for when we were setting up our kid at CU. Bedrooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Kitchen is well equiped to make quick meals, though we typically only made breakfast and ate out rest of the time. Bathroom is modern and clean. Diverting water to the showerhead was a test, and later found instructions on how to do it in the manual ! So read it ! Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Short walk/jog to centennial path/bobolink trailhead. Forgot keys in the unit at checkout but the owner was kind enough to mail them to my home. Highly recommended.

The layout of the downstairs apartment was spacious, and well designed. The furniture was comfortable and the lighting was excellent. The hosts live upstairs and were quiet and very respectful of our space. When we did meet they were delightful. I appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked so we could actually cook if we wanted to. Also the beds had good mattresses and there were lots of options for blankets so I could get really comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely, felt very safe and was quiet. The views were nice as well but the view from apartment looks out onto a nice garden with a sweet little fountain. To get the mountain views you have to go outside. My colleague and I were there for 5 nights for a conference in Boulder and it worked perfectly.

We are actively engaged with a combined family (5 children, 5 grand children, 5great grandchildren), friends, bicycling, downhill & backcountry skiing, hiking, chorale singing, dancing, traveling...…and life in general. We are both graduates of the University of Colorado in Boulder.

We designed our house and included an apartment for our parents to live in when they needed assisted living.
