Perfectly Imperfect 2BR 5★ Lakeview Cottage/Iconic Pier

Relax with the whole family or group of friends at this lakeview cottage, few steps away from iconic pier. This house has 2BR. The primary bedroom has a pillowtop queen bed with cozy bedding. The second bedroom has a twin over double bunk and an additional twin bed all with cozy bedding, nightstand w/ lamp, fan & ample hooks.
July and August are 4 night minimum. Long weekends are 3 night minimum.
PRIMARY BEDROOM:

▶The primary bedroom has a pillowtop queen bed with cozy bedding offering you an amazing nights sleep! There’s a dresser, nightstands with lamps, fan and smart tv for your comforts of home.

BEDROOM 2:

▶The second bedroom has a twin over double bunk and an additional twin bed all with cozy bedding, nightstand with lamp, fan and ample hooks.

KITCHEN:

▶The kitchen has everything you need…. just bring the food and bevies!
✔Water cooler with 1 jug of water provided.
✔Full refrigerator

✔Weber BBQ (1 propane tank included)
✔kitchen sink so don’t bring that(LOL)!

DINING ROOM:

▶The dining room is a room of windows with lakeview! Table with 6 chairs and 2 additional folding chairs (highchair available upon advance request) and electric fireplace set a relaxing spot.

LIVING ROOM:

▶The living room with huge picture windows (lakeview as well) has a large sectional with

✔smart tv
The tvs are all set up with Netflix, prime, Disney + and more!

BATHROOM:

▶The bathroom with double stall shower includes towels, TP & soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser.

OUTSIDE

▶Outside is a landscaped firepit area with 6 adirondack chairs and firepit. 36” firewood ring stand with firewood included & marshmallow sticks available.
In the back is a year round 6-8 man hottub tucked away protected from the wind!

NEARBY DESTINATION:

▶The nearest pier is in sightline from cottage and just a 2 minute walk.
▶My personal favorite beach is Matlock beach and is a 2 minute drive
▶The popular Winnipeg beach is approx. a 5 minute drive.
▶Matlock has a convenience store
▶If you need groceries Winnipeg beach is the place to go!
I’ve never been disappointed with their produce and selection of groceries & meats! Selkirk & Gimli are further options as well. If you're not familiar with the area you need to keep one of your evenings available to try.
▶The Emporium restaurant just 2 blocks down the road(seasonally open and be sure to make reservations).

May Long Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time at the cottage! It was exactly what we were hoping for! And we loved all the decor and little details everywhere! We kept saying “Hey guys, come look at this!” And the hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Great place to stay

We had a great time at the cabin. The hot tub was a great place to warm up after a chilly day on the beach. My favourite spot was the swinging chairs, you could often find me there in the morning. The host was quick to respond to any questions.

Lovely place

The place had everything we wanted and more! I loved having multiple nights worth of fire wood and internet to keep in touch with my family watching my dog. The closeness of winnipeg beach make for a great day of fun, and you get to stay in a quiet friendly neighborhood only 10 minutes away!

Comfortable and well equipped cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage in winter. It had large windows making for a bright place and a well equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. There were many added touches such as slippers and sandals to go out to the hot tub that were very appreciated.

Mother - Daughters Weekend

We had the most fabulous few days at Alicia's beautiful cabin. Her attention to detail is incredible - from the little extras (coffee/hot chocolate bar!) to great beds and bedding - you have everything you need and then some to relax and enjoy the beautiful area. First rate hosting and communication, and a beautiful spot. Great cookbooks and perfect private hot tub! We will be back.

The inside of the cabin was very pretty and clean. Not as new looking as the pictures but that’s to be expected. The outside was not attended to. We had to clean the spider webs off all the furniture before we used it. We swept the decks and cleaned the webs off all lawn furniture so we could enjoy it. We all decided not to use the hot tube because there was dirt and sand throughout the inside. Enough so that we did not feel it was cleaned. All the chairs in the back yard needed to be completely wiped down and cleaned before we could sit on them as well. That area was very disappointing but we really did enjoy our stay anyways. The little extras, like coffee and tea inside were much appreciated. The owner always responded quickly to our questions before we got there.
