The Ardmullen properties are generously proportioned two-storey homes which boast 4 spacious bedrooms (1 master en-suite, 2 double, 1 twin), comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. Further accommodation includes a lounge with open fireplace and a large fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area. All rooms are beautifully and stylishly decorated and are cheerfully bright, with lots of natural light and high quality furnishings. Naturally, bed linen and hotel quality towels are provided for your use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm, and the open fire can be used to create an even more comfortable atmosphere. There is satellite television in the lounge.
Please note that for the benefit of all guests, these are non-smoking houses. Outside, the homes avails of safe off-street parking and at the rear there is a patio area with garden furniture and barbeque. Children in your party will be delighted with the large communal green area well away from the public road, which is perfect for kicking around a ball or enjoying a game of badminton after a day's touring. Both homes have beautiful views of the surrounding mountainous scenery.

Great house. V clean and spacious. Loved our stay. Ideal location. Ten mins walk to town. All cooking utensils available. Towels provided, toilet roll, salt, pepper and a few bits all there. TV with plenty of channels. Very comfortable stay. Open fire perfect for fire logs. Heating was great, made house so cozy. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house.There was plenty of space for our group of 7 adults and 3 children. The house even had a travel cot and high chair as we requested. I would highly recommend this property for all ages.

SUNNY KENMARE

We stayed in No. 6 Ardmullen, Kenmare from April 15th-22nd. The house was lovely with everything you needed to hand. We were no more than a 10-15 min. walk from the town and we were blessed with the weather too. I would highly recommend Ardmullen houses to anyone. Very spacious and well equipped, nice patio area and garden too. We will be back!

We had a fantastic time and looking forward to next year already, just a few pointers:- Bathrooms clean but the toilets smelt bad for the week. Matresses on both double beds uncomfortable, sagging in the middle. Damp patches on wall in front room. Very strong smell of oil in utility when boiler was on.

nous avons séjourné une semaine dans la maison a 7, et nous étions très satisfaits de la location. le village de Kenmare est très agréable et il y a beaucoup de pubs et de restaurants. le petit jardin de la maison permet de déjeuner a l'extérieur quand il fait beau.

Needs deep clean and updating of decor and furniture to justify price

Looked like a very nice well appointed house in a good location on the web. However furniture very dark an heavy making it almost impossible to clean around or see dirt on it (looked like beds and furniture had never been moved to clean under). Everything could do with a deep clean especially the carpets upstairs and curtains all over. Dinner Table was sticky, Chipped cups and plates not enough cuttlery, no batteries in some of remote controls Kitchen towels were all stained, no beach towels, no outside umbrella. Stools for the breakfast counter are useless as they are a fixed height and you can't sit at the counter as you legs will not fit underneath. We had problems with wifi and Fuse board tripping which were fixed. For the price it was not good value we paid €1950 plus utilities for 2 weeks in July.

Family holiday

Disappointed in Rental property

No mention of utilities being extra on internet. Oil charged at 95c per ltr. They had put heat on before we arrived and it had used up 12ltrs before we got there. This was almost 12euro and we hadn't even moved in. Electricity charged at 27c a unit. The current prices of oil is 52c ltr. and electricity is about 16c a unit. This is a rip off. One of our party had stayed in the Kenmare Bay houses the previous 3 nights and they said heat and electricity was included in the cost of the accommodation and that the overall standard was much higher. There were a lot of chipped mugs and not well equipped as regard utensils if you cooking in, which we were. Also, in the main bedroom there was quite a large blood stain on the duvet. It was thought to be a stain on the duvet cover but when closer looked at it was actually on the duvet itself. Discusting and totally unacceptable. The bed in the third bedroom was only about 4 foot and too small for two people and the bed in second bedroom was very low to the floor. One of our party knocked her leg off this bed and got a huge bruise on her leg. I phoned the agent and complained about the utilities and he said that I could pay what I wanted and that there was a mistake in the price of the oil. It was being charged at last years prices.

This is our standard Christmas break and all of the family spend part of their Christmas break here. Ardmullen has consistently been a great location, and despite the wet weather all had a great time and are looking forward to next visit

Home from home

We had a great stay at Ardmullen and will certainly book again. The property is very large and easily accommodated eight adults. The kitchen/dining room has all mod cons and both living rooms have open fires, very useful this time of year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, house was extremely comfortable with great sized rooms and bedrooms, immaculately clean and really well equipped. Beds and linens were spotless and so comfortable. Great sized kitchen. It is close enough to walk into town but after walking up the mountains it was easy enough to get a taxi too! Only slight annoyance was being asked to pay extra for heating oil and electricity which I hadn't seen when booking.
