Stay at the Amnicon lodge

We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!

Boys had a great time

I would highly recommend the camp for teams of any kind! plenty of room for everybody. It provided a great bonding experience for players and coaches.

We are a summer camp & retreat center that gives people access to wild places and the chance to live life in community. We outfit & guide high adventure wilderness trips, and provide comfortable-yet-simple accommodations to guests & groups who want to do their own thing.

Why they chose this property

Located at the end of a 5-mile-long dirt road, our rustic retreat center is the perfect blend of far enough away and easy enough to get to. We're just 30 minutes outside Duluth, so you can spend your days touristing if you'd like. We're also far enough from the highway that you won't be bothered by the sounds of the city or highway while you're here. It's quiet, it's peaceful, it's lovely.
