With a cosy sitting room, a well-equipped sunny kitchen with dining area, and three comfortable bedrooms – able to sleep five people in one double, one twin and one single room – this is a great house for families, couples, or a group of friends.


In the heart of the old mining village of Cwmgors, six miles from Ammanford is this charming terraced cottage. The property has been restored to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage also has a patio area as well as a beautiful meadow garden that attracts many birds and butterflies with its abundance of wild flowers. From this wonderful outdoor location there are incredible views of the Black Mountain, providing a magnificent backdrop for outdoor dining. Please note: This property only accepts 7-night bookings with a Saturday check-in date, as shown in the calendar.

Off road parking for 1 car, additional rear off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed front courtyard, enclosed rear garden with patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no smoking. Shop 100 yards, pub 2 mins walk. Note: This cottage is on the A474 and as such is subject to some traffic noise. Two well behaved dogs welcome with a £50 damage deposit. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Nestling at the base of the imposing Black Mountain, the old mining village of Cwmgors provides visitors with a shop, pub and an award-winning fish and chip shop. Great walking routes are nearby, not only through the Black Mountain scenery but also in the Amman Valley. With its vast moorlands, prehistoric burial sites and medieval castles this wonderful landscape acts as the gateway to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons). Just six miles away and boasting a variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants is the bustling market town of Ammanford whilst the larger town of Neath is also close by. The horseracing track at Tairgwaith holds regular race meetings from March to September and has one of only two purpose built, all-weather trotting tracks. To the south are the fantastic beaches of the Welsh coastline, making this a holiday destination for everyone.

Lovely cottage, great parking around the back, neighbours lovely, local shop that sold everything! Lots of lovely treats left, even a bbq kit. Drove to Pontardawe, (visiting friends) went to Carmarthen, llandielo, beautiful scenery lots of walks to castles. Great time.
