Lovely place, well kitted and homely. Great location, just close to noisy and fast road, but doesn’t really cause a problem. Lovely (and reasonably priced) pub across the road, and the bbq area is great. No need for the log burner in August, but would have been wonderfully decadent to get that going in a winter evening.
Was fine rooms were clean and tidy BBQ are was large
Place is great just one issue its on a main road so s bit noisy
But it did not bother us but if your a light sleeper its not for you.
Owner was easy to contact would stay here again its in the middle of most places and as a nice pub with great food just across the road.

Great property for a reunion weekend!
We were 8 old university friends (from the early 70s!) spending a reunion weekend walking and relaxing in Snowdonia. We were slightly concerned that the house was on the A5 - but none of us was aware of traffic noise and we all thought it was a great place to stay. Y Giler Public House is just a few hundred yards away - they do nice food although we ate in the house - and Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig, where we based our walks, were just a few minutes away by car. The house is really well-equipped - far better than many we have rented - and the wood-burning stove was magnificent, with a huge stock of logs. There is a nice wooden patio just above a little river.
We thought this was ideal for a group of 8 or 10 friends - we will certainly book again!
