No complaints at all. I do feel we probably booked a place a little too remote as we had to drive every day to get somewhere to do something. However, this does not mean that this is not great. Everything one would need was there and available.
Absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous cottage. It's very comfortable and has everything you need. Lovely hospitable owners too! The valley itself is very quiet so it's nice to be away from the busyness of Ambleside / Windermere, but its a stunning spot and there are stunning views. The price for that is narrow lanes with few passing places, but you soon get used to it and its a very small price to pay for a stay in such a nice cottage.
