The cottage is beautiful. 3 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen bits and bobs well stocked and lovely quality that you would have in your own home. Would certainly return.

Glad you liked the location of Santon Cottage - so handy for shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and transport. Love your description of super cute! Jean and Simon
The cottage was updated, clean, and in a perfect, quiet location. It was within very easy walking distance of the train station, Booth's grocery store, and the Mountain Goat tour company, in addition to Windermere's shops and restaurants.Beyond that, the cottage itself was a charming glimpse into an earlier age, albeit with all the modern conveniences. We enjoyed speculating on when it might have been built, given the heavy stone floor in the kitchen and the wood beams above the window frames. The hosts made the experience of checking in and out easy, and were responsive to my questions. If we were to return to the Lake District, we would definitely want to rent this cottage again.

This was such a cute little spot in Windermere. Loved the little fireplace. Made it so cozy and warm. Super close to shops and pubs. And lovely drives all around. Nice and clean. Bedrooms have stairs up and down, but for our group it was fine. Having two bathrooms was nice! Enjoyed staying here.
