Excellent location
Excellent location for walks, local shops (great Spa Shop with a local butchers inside within 5 mins walk plus a friendly food pub across the road The Old Hall. Also dog friendly. You didn’t really need to use your car once parked up. If you did want to drive again great location for lots of great places to visit. Easy to get to Grassington surrounding villages and river wharf. We walked to Linton and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at The Fountain, again very friendly and welcomed our dog. Also walked to Red Lion Hotel and Burnsall again great food very friendly and accommodated the pooch. Parking is directly outside the house which is safe. Quiet location. The cottage is very cosy, plenty of logs for the wood fire, often cottages give you five logs. Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate muffins and 2ltrs Milk which was very nice. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Also filtered water tap which was great for filling up our water bottles before setting off walking. We would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage to anyone visiting the area.
