Mountain View is a large detached property, converted from a former pub/hotel, in the North Wales village of Penmaenmawr. The property sleeps up to 59 people and has 14 bedrooms (eight with en-suite facilities), two large dormitory rooms and four additional family bathrooms. It also contains a kitchen with a dining area for 45, a sitting room that seats 16, a disco/media room and a large games room with pool and table football. Outside is off road parking and an outdoor seating area. Set just a short walk from the beach, yet within a short drive of the Snowdonia National Park, Mountain View is a wonderful holiday home for large groups and family get-togethers.

Amenities: Gas central heating throughout. 2x Smart TVs, DVD, soundbar. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and WIFI included in rent. Three highchairs and two stairgates. Off road parking for 3 cars with car park 300 yards away. Patio area with picnic benches. Three well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pub 1 min walk. Beach 10 mins walk. Check-in 4pm. Note - Three external steps to front door and small step on lower ground floor. Note - Part of second floor has sloping ceilings and restricted head-height with partial hand rail on staircase and one bedroom has sloping ceiling with reduced head-height to one side. Note - Limited clothes storage in dormitories. Note - Three full sized adult trundles can be erected wherever required, bringing the total sleeps to 50.

Our family get-together

We found the property spacious and quite well equipped, the large games rooms on the lower ground floor being particularly attractive to the youngsters in our group, which meant they could enjoy themselves without disturbing the grown-ups too much! Most of us found the beds comfy and there were plenty of bathrooms/ensuites for our numbers. Good kitchen facilities, plenty of space in the dining area. Our main criticism of the property was the general level of floor cleanliness we found when we arrived, some areas appeared not to have been swept or vacuumed properly; a good deep clean wouldn't go amiss. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the area is lovely, we found plenty to do and so we would probably consider revisiting the property in the future.

First Floor Mezzanine: 1 x dormitory with 4 singles, 2 x super king-size double (both zip/link) both with en-suite shower room with shower, basin & WC. Second Floor: 4 x super king-size double (zip/link) two with en-suite shower, basin and WC (one accessed through cot room with sofa), 1 x king-size double, 1 x shower room with shower, basin & WC. Kitchen with dining area (seats 36) and breakfast table (seats 9). Sitting room (seats 16). Lower ground floor disco/media room (seats 12). Lower ground floor games room with table football, air-hockey and separate pool table room (seats 8).
