I thank you for your very kind appreciation, but the converse is true; It has been a great pleasure to welcome you
This property is a 2 minute drive from a wonderful bakery and only 10 or so Minutes from St. Emilion. We were given maps and suggestions on where there was free parking, a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and pamphlets and local information in English. There is a beautiful pool and yard with bistro tables but we were too busy to enjoy them. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Claude et Myriam savent vous accueillir dans leur magnifique région.
Surtout écoutez tous les conseils avisés de Claude qui saura vous trouver toutes les activités et visites à faire absolument dans le bassin aquitain et ses vignobles.
Encore merci à vous

Wonderful location
This studio is in a wonderful location for visiting the attractions in this area. It is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and the amazing village of Saint-Emilion. It was very nice to have our own parking spot and private entrance. Claude provided valuable guidance to us about the area and answered our many questions about traveling in France. The daily breakfast in the pool area (or in kitchen if raining) that was included was a great relaxing way to start the day and Myriam's jams were delicious.

EXCELLANT STUDIO APARTMENT
Our stay at Shelters Saint Emillion was excellent. Myriam and Claude were wonderful hosts. Claude met us when we arrived and showed us our studio apartment which was very nice. Claude gave us so much information about the area with maps and good suggestions.
We enjoyed breakfast on the patio and Myriam's jam was delicious. Each morning Claude helped us plan our day of sightseeing. We were very close to Saint Emillion.
The studio apartment in close to the road and there is some traffic noise but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on we did not hear the traffic.
We would definitely stay here again.

Specious, Comfortable Room
Lovely place to stay. In the heart of wine country. Owners Claude and Miriam are welcoming and concerned with your comfort and well-being. Our particular room was large, very clean, and, although attached to the main house, had a private entrance. Shower room is very large and looked recently renovated, and had two sinks. A big plus is that it was air-conditioned. A must for us.
Nice, peaceful garden area with pool.
The property is very conveniently located about 4K (2.4 miles), from St. Emilion. It's also close to Libourne, where there are trains that regularly travel to the city of Bourdeaux.
Claude speaks a decent amount of English and was very helpful in suggesting places for us to go. His restaurant suggestions were spot-on, as well as directing us to the best things to see and do in Saint Emilion.
Great base for exploring the area.
