The host mark/marc was horrible !! Messages repeatedly to tell him we was coming in late to the rep telling us the reservation was CANCELLED! The hotel/motel we was out was out of rooms every room was book that night of course(v day weekend) -HORRIBLE NIGHT !! But thank god I found a room for the night and got in my nice beach hotel room ! The name of the place is Hollywood beach hotels go check the out guys !! 5 starsss

Find another place at all cost!

There should be an option of no stars. I tried to contact the manager to the following and have not heard back from him at all. I left the hotel even though I had another night at the location. I paid tax and lodging fee; however, when I arrived I was told I had to pay for parking (not mentioned in the Vrbo description) and was charged for taxes (again) and charged for hotel fees without any clarification as to what those were. I was also told that I would have to put down a Substantial incidental fee that would be placed back on the card and refunded after I left. This was also not mentioned or outlined within the Vrbo description. I paid for two nights but ended up having to pay again when I arrived. I arrived in the middle of a terrible storm and just wanted to get to the room. The path to my room was flooded so I was walking ankle-deep in water to my room. I then went to the room and the pictures provided was NOT what the room looked like at all!! In fact, the room was disgusting with brown/yellowish sludge marks on the wall, the far wall looked like it was dented and poorly repaired, the table in the center was marked up and gross. The bed is plastic at best. We entered the room and even in a downpour, we left due to not feeling safe at this establishment due to three tweakers that were walking around outside our door, the grossness of the room, and the door to the room did not shut all the way leaving a gap when locked allowing the rain to come through. The description for the hotel says travelers will be greeted by a warm and welcoming lobby however that was not the case. The woman working did not seem to know how to book us, nor invested in the fact that we were soaked when we arrived and trying to find a safe dry room. When I asked how we were being charged more she told us, "Marc said charge them." This was our first sign that something was amiss about the property. The description and pricing provided is not what we received when we arrived. I am requested a refund with no answer. We only stayed in that room for less than 5 minutes. I would suggest updating your descriptions on this and other sites for your business and what the additional costs will be when someone arrives and provided more accurate photographs of the property and room. Find another hotel that is not a motel like this place.

The worst

We was charged an additional 216.00 dollars at check in. When we paid in full in advance. And it was pay it or lose the money we had already paid. The rooms were not what was advertised on vrbo. The first room they gave the door frame was busted to the point when we tried to re-enter the room the frame pushed out and we couldn't get in. This was the worst experience we have ever had.

This place was a huge disappointment. When arriving in the room stains everywhere and room does not look like pictures so upset with this place to top it all off THERE ARE HIDDEN FEES . A deposit is needed which is been unheard of since i've been renting with this website vrbo and if there were fees that should of been detailed in description at time of renting. This rental was paid in full prior . On top of a deposit I was also charged parking fees (which i was told was Not optional and a breakfast charge which i told was not optional however in the price of the deposit and taxes and fees . They will NOT LET YOU CHECK IN WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGES N VRBO DID NOT HELP WITH-THIS SITUATION . We called customers service hung up on 4 times after 2 hour phone waits . Also the number they had listed for host is the Wife of the owner number. LOL I called them 6 days prior to arriving with not one return call or message back. I was told by customer service that I would be given back my deposit and parking fees along with cleaning fees and taxes and i have yet to get any of those charges back. I didnt even received a sorry from the hotel customer host as i was promised I would by customer service representing Vrbo

The blinds were broken people could see into our room from the board walk. Felt a little exposed. The lamp on the board walk shined into the room the entire night. Also the shower looks like it was being remodeled.

Totally misleading description of property. This is a motel at best.

Stay anywhere else at no matter the cost. Place is a total dump. We were charged a ridiculously high rate per night which we didn’t mind paying as VRBO had this as a 4 1/2 start rating and once we arrived and saw what we were paying for we immediately asked for refund and were denied by the property owner. We tried to file complaint with VRBO and they did nothing for us. We will never use VRBO to book anything ever again.

Bad description of room and what is expected

Description said new appliances, coffee/tea maker in every room, on-site parking. My room did not have a new appliances and did not have a coffee/tea maker. As far as parking there is on-site parking after you pay a significant fee to park on the property. There is also a deposit that is not mentioned anywhere in the description. Do not stay here.
