The house itself is nice and comfortable. It has been remodeled and has modern appliances and flooring. With the following comments in mind, we would stay there again if the price remains competitive.
The renter should be made aware that there are three separate dwelling units in the house, so it is a triplex and not technically a house as advertised. The units are completely separate and accessible only from the outside. The property is right across the street from a soup kitchen/food bank/other(?), and in an area of town not known for its safety. We felt safe, however, as there are security cameras and lights on all night outside the building.
Noise from other renters was apparent. The laundry is out back. The driveway is very steep, narrow, and should not be considered useable for most vehicles, except maybe a small SUV. Ground and side clearance is the reason. That said, there is parking on the street, and was available during our stay. Finally, and because it is a triplex built from a house that was divided, there is no thermostat control over the temperature in the unit. There was, however, a space heater that assisted with heat. Not sure how cooling in the summer is handled? The bed was nice, although the mattress creaks.
Again, we would stay in the future, provided it remains price competitive.
