Enjoy this perfectly located private apartment on the lower south hill, right next to St. Johns Cathedral, Manito Park, and Sacred Heart.

2 bedrooms - one with king bed and one with a queen, as well as a futon style couch with sheets and a twin mattress allow the whole family to sleep comfortably

55" HDTV comes with bluray player and many movies, as well as Roku streaming including Netflix, YouTubeTV, and many others.

Fully stocked updated mid-century kitchen is perfect for breakfast and making yourself at home.

Bathroom is clean and updated.

Bedrooms are old hardwood floors.

Apartment has 2 AC Units for the hot months

We only needed the place to sleep and shower. That worked out well. Except that the bathroom outlets did not work. But we found others that did. This house is near where our grandchildren live and we enjoyed picking up doughnuts from close by to take to them both mornings we were there.

Loved the convenience to a few restaurants and 7-11. We spent most of our time in and around downtown/Riverfront and getting there was super easy and affordable when we used rideshares.

Nice place to stay

This was nice clean little place to stay. The beds were very comfortable and the area was very quiet. Parking is tight but adequate. The stairs leading up to the apartment are narrow and could be difficult for people with mobility issues. I would definitely stay there again.

We were in town for doctors appointments at the Sacred Heart and this was the perfect home base within walking distance. What a beautiful view of the cathedral!

The first thought that came to my mind when entering the place was "80s" - the place was a bit outdated. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a place to store refrigerated goods and prepare meals. The host was very accommodating and pleasant to work. The place was clean and warm (in November). The place is not big - it would fit 4 fairly comfortably, 5 was pretty tight. But we made it work. Unlike other Vrbos we stayed in, the host made sure there were enough towels for all 5 of us. Overall, we had a nice stay. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would.

Sweet neighborhood

Well appointed and well loved vacation rental in the historic South Hill neighborhood. We enjoyed a couple cozy mornings in the snug kitchen. The local turkey flock stopped by frequently. Walking distance to many parks and historic mansions of Cliff Avenue.

A welcoming space in the upstairs of a historic home, conveniently located near Grand Ave, a major north-south arterial in Spokane. Small but efficient kitchen had basic dishes, glassware, cookware and spices. So appreciated the coffee maker and coffee! Parking was a little challenging because of a large van parked in front of the house, requiring us to back around it into the designated parking space. The detailed directions to find the location were very helpful as the home is at the end of a small street that is a little tricky to find. Owner very responsive to messages and questions.

A peaceful, quiet, and creative home to rest in

I had the pleasure of spending several days here at the beginning of the new year to reflect on the previous year and strategize for the upcoming season. The house was clean, peaceful and felt like home right off the bat. The atmosphere of the home also felt uniquely creative, so I was able to paint, draw and journal with ease. Thank you Pete and Sarah for such a pleasant retreat.

Great location!

Very clean little place! We stayed the weekend to attend a show at Spokane Arena. It was just a quick drive to the venue. Our only challenge was parking. I drive a Toyota Rav4 and anything larger would not have fit in the parking spot. It took some maneuvering to get my car in!

Peter Purchased this property in 2002 and lived in one of the apartments and rented out the others, slowly restoring all the property.

In 2013 Peter married Sarah and the next year they had their first baby, Piper and quickly were outgrowing their place. With baby #2, Riley, they have moved out of their place and are now happy to have it as a place for guests to stay. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we did!

This is a great neighborhood to be in and a very comfortable apartment. You will be in walking distance of great food and amenities, as well as wonderful historic neighborhoods and parks.

just a 2 minutes drive from downtown, and 15 minutes to the airport.
