Clean & well stocked. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back again. Great location with parking area for one right outside your door. We were 15-30 min from various family members scattered about the Ipswich area and it worked out perfect.
A perfect spot for us to stay to catch up with local family. Very comfortable inside and excellent outdoor entertaining and garden.
We will definitely visit again.
Thank you
Well maintained property with immaculate garden with outdoor seating, set back from main road so not overlooked. Good sized rooms with well equipped kitchen including washing machine and large fridge freezer. Felt like a home as soon as we had unpacked. Great base for exploring the area, lots to see within a 20 mile radius. Highlights included Sutton Hoo, pretty villages of Lavenham and Dedham and the town of Bury St Edmunds. Stunning Constable Country at Flatford, excellent free museum at Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich. Would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful area.
Excellent stay this our third time at the Hayloft and Paul has made it perfect again. It is like a home from home. The Christmas tree was a special touch. A big thank you Happy New Year
The property was clean, warm and welcoming. It has everything you need, feels like a home from home. We were able to visit Ipswich and Bury to shop as both are close enough and worth a visit.
We were able to walk into Needham Market in the evening for a meal at The Limes Hotel and The Swan. Both meals were amazing. It is a bit of a walk (20 minutes roughly), but worth it.
Lovely cottage. Well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Loads of space inside and great outside space. Really fast wifi. Host was friendly and helpful.
Ein tolles Objekt mit Garten, der lauter schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten bietet.
Sauber und ordentlich. Toll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung.
Probably the nicest place we've stayed for a break in the UK. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, really well equipped. Lovely garden, just a pity the weather didn't let us sit out more! The owner was really easy to communicative with via email, and called round to make sure everything was ok.
Recommend Stonham Barns for a great car boot sale and other activities, Felixstowe for traditional seaside fun, Aldeburgh for fresh smoked fish on the beach, Thorpeness for a spot of kayaking on a lake, and Ickworth House NT for a spot of grandeur.
The Hayloft was exactly as expected. It was clean and well furnished and perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children.
The garden was beautifully maintained with plenty of furniture which we used for meals and relaxing.
We had a great stay.
The Hayloft is a great place to stay; it has well appointed bedrooms, and a kitchen with just about everything you might need, including a dishwasher. The bathrooms were smart and clean. The garden provides enough space and is a pleasant area to relax in (and even has a barbecue). The location is ideal as a base for visiting Suffolk or other parts of East Anglia. The host (Paul) was friendly and helpful. There are local shops and pubs or cafes within walking distance, and the A14 nearby makes accessing places further afield very easy.
We had a wonderful stay in the Hayloft cottage. It's a proper home from home, so clean and comfortable. There's so much room that you are never on top of each other. The bedrooms are a fantastic size, with very comfortable beds. The bonus for us was a ground floor bedroom with ensuite, which suited my mum-in-law as she can't use stairs. And not forgetting the beautiful extensive garden area!
Great location for visiting many of the lovely areas of beauty, especially our favourite, Dedham Vale. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others! Thank you for making our break so perfect.
A lovely, clean, modern house. Everything you could want and great location.
Double beds upstairs are not very comfortable, new mattresses would be a good investment.
Booked for a quiet week away with the kids, nice and central for our days out and lovely setting with walks on the doorstep. Checkin was smooth, the property was spacious and comfortable with a lovely garden and patio area for the evenings. One of the cleanest and best-equipped holiday lets we have stayed in - Paul popped round to warn us of a planned power cut during our dray and even lent us a cool bag to be on the safe side. The road outside can be quite busy at rush hour but as city-dwellers this didn't bother us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
We feel very lucky to have found this accommodation. We are a family of 2 adults & 3 children (age 12, 10 & 9). There is plenty of space both indoors and out. The place is very clean & well kept. We had new mattresses on all beds which were very comfortable. The crushed ice machine on the fridge was very popular in the heat. The catering is well equipped for all occasions from outdoor gas bbq, to pizza, to casserole or roast if you wish. The town has a couple of nice pubs, as well as quirky shops, takeaways and a superstore not too far away.
It was a great base for day trips out with lots of beautiful places easily accessible. It was lovely to meet Paul & Lynne who own the place. They’re a really friendly couple & gave their number for contact if we needed anything.
Would definitely recommend this property & hopefully we will return. Thankyou!
