Welcome to our fisherman's house in Chaucre commune of Saint Georges d'Oléron!
🏡🌾đŸšČ
The advantage here is of course the sweetness of life. It's nice even in the middle of August. You will be immersed in the Oléronese culture, total change of scenery. You can leave your car and enjoy your stay on foot or by bike in this charming little house of 45m2 in the heart of the village and located 10 minutes walk from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the island.

The house is composed of a ground floor (TV lounge with sofa bed 1x80 or 2x160, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, shower room - all about 25m2) and a first floor (two cosy bedrooms of about 7.5m2, one with a double bed 140 and office space and the other with 1 mezzanine bed 2x140 and 1x90 and a dressing). We have a small terrace (5m2) at the front to store your bikes or to eat at 4.

The location is also ideal to visit our beautiful island (Saint-Denis, the lighthouse of Chassiron, CotiniĂšre harbor), and the beautiful department of Charente Maritime (Fort Boyard, La Rochelle, Palmyre zoo, Royan, Saintes).
The diving school of the Joyeux corsaires is just a step away from the house. You also have the possibility to practice or discover various activities: surfing and kite on the beach of the "Huttes", paddle and sailing from the beach of "La Boirie" and the harbor of Saint-Denis.
A book detailing all the cycling paths of the island is available in the house and will be very useful to define your routes during your stay ;)

The parking 🚗 đŸšČ đŸš¶
The house does not have a garage or parking space. On the other hand, the very quiet alley offers the possibility to easily unload your belongings and groceries or to take the whole family on a road trip.
Free parking lots are provided in the summer around the village to leave your vehicle safely. Everything can be done on foot or by bike afterwards: beach, bakery, cooperative...

Internet connection đŸ‘©đŸ’» đŸ€ł
The house doesn't have a high speed internet connection yet. Fiber should arrive soon and we're crossing our fingers... But for the moment no operator provides us with a connection and we are sincerely sorry for that. So we equipped the house with a 4G box which works well normally.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und grundsĂ€tzlich mit Akku-Staubsauger, Waschmaschine, WĂ€schetrockner, SpĂŒlmaschine, Mikrowelle und Ventilatoren sehr gut ausgestattet. Allerdings waren nicht wie im Inserat angegeben FahrrĂ€der und ein Grill vorhanden. Der Grill sollte noch nachgeliefert werden, dies ist aber leider nicht erfolgt. Auch die Matratze ist sehr durchgelegen. Das Sofa war ebenfalls nicht das, welches auf dem Foto abgebildet ist. Ingesamt ist die Wohnung aber fĂŒr 2 Personen sehr gut fĂŒr einen Badeurlaub auf der Insel geeignet und bietet wirklich alles was man benötigt. Der Stand von Chaucre ist fußlĂ€ufig gut zu erreichen. Eine tolle BĂ€ckerei ist um die Ecke und ParkplĂ€tze in der NĂ€he zu finden.Die Kommunikation mit dem Hausmeister Antoine verlief sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall wohlgefĂŒhlt.

Petit atypique et sympathique

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs agrĂ©able sĂ©jour derniĂšre semaine de juin 2023. Emplacement idĂ©al pour aller Ă  la plage. Ce qui est apprĂ©ciable c'est que les chiens peuvent aller Ă  la plage avec des crĂ©neaux ce qui n'est pas le cas pour les autres plages. Manque vraiment de place pour stationner les voitures cela ne doit pas ĂȘtre facile en plein Ă©tĂ©. TrĂšs beau village typique.

Bonjour Anne Laure et Merci pour votre apprĂ©ciation. Concernant les places nous n’avons pas eu de retour nĂ©gatif jusqu’ici y compris avec les locataires sur les pĂ©riodes estivales. Il y a des grands parkings Ă  proximitĂ© et d’autres sont ouverts en cas de trĂšs forte affluence sur ce petit village typique. Ils sont tous Ă  5min maximum Ă  pied de la maison. Petit cocon douillet, idĂ©al pour une famille de 4 personnes. Petit mais tellement mignon ! Il y a tout pour passer un super sĂ©jour, dont deux vĂ©los adultes mis a disposition (sinon c'est 60€ la semaine par vĂ©lo !). Lits de qualitĂ© et coin tranquille. Tout petit petit bĂ©mol, la voiture ne peut se garer dans la cour, mais c'est vraiment pour chipoter 😅.

Joli logement

Logement moderne et fonctionnel amĂ©nagĂ© avec goĂ»t. Dommage que la terrasse ne soit pas utilisable lorsqu'il pleut car la couverture en plastique ondulĂ©e est en mauvais Ă©tat . BĂ©mol pour la petite chambre oĂč le vĂ©lux n'est pas accessible (prĂ©voir un ventilateur). Sinon super sĂ©jour tout se fait facilement Ă  vĂ©lo et l'Ăźle est magnifique !

Sommerurlaub

Das kleine Haus ist gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und es sind alle benötigten Utensilien vorhanden. Sogar zwei FahrrĂ€der standen zur VerfĂŒgung, leider gab es keinen Abstellplatz dafĂŒr. Die kleine Terrasse ist gerade fĂŒr zwei Personen nutzbar. Außerdem kann man sie nicht bei guten Sommerwetter nutzen, da sie sich sehr Stark durch das Vordach aufheizt. Auch gibt es keine Möglichkeit im Haus die Temperaturen zu regulieren. Die Matratzen sind leider schon durchgelegen.

Pour les vĂ©los, nous n’avons effectivement pas d’emplacement privatif mais on peut les stocker facilement dans la venelle normalement. Nous n’avons pas encore eu l’occasion d’amĂ©liorer l’extĂ©rieur comme nous le souhaitons mais la pergola sera modifiĂ©e. Et sans la canicule elle est trĂšs agrĂ©able. Pour les matelas que nous avons changĂ©s l’annĂ©e derniĂšre, nous allons nous renseigner. TrĂšs bonne continuation Ă  vous. Cedric & Cecilia

Petite maison trĂšs charmante

Nous avons été ravis de l'endroit, tant pour l'accueil que la qualité et l'emplacement du bien. TrÚs trÚs calme, coquet et agréable, tout nous a parfaitement convenu. Il n'y a pas d'emplacement privatif pour garer la voiture mais nous avons trouvé vraiment sans problÚme des places à proximité. Les vélos à disposition sont un plus ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

Location idĂ©ale dans village au calme. Tout confort et bien agencĂ©. Petite terrasse pour prendre l’apĂ©ro et dĂ©jeuner trĂšs sympa. Balade Ă  vĂ©lo et proche de la mer.
