very clean, easy access and enjoyed our stay. everything you need is available. we were focused on fishing for the 5 days and we had lots of success.might want to mention boat ramp on 23rd st.limited parking so it would be nice to know where to park your trailer.
When the family left, my husband and i decided to extend our stay a couple days, as we were enjoying the property and location so much. Neither myself nor the host could do an extension through VRBO, so I just did a new booking for the extended days, but the host made sure the added days did not cause any hassle ...for example we did not have to do a new check in or have codes changed, etc. Such a great place.
My family and I had a wonderful time. The stairs were a little rough at times but other than that it was perfect. My kids fished pretty much the whole time we were there. They loved it! Defiantly a nice getaway.
The property was pefect for our mini fishing weekend. We took out boat and were able to park it right behind the home on the available boat dock. Quiet area with friendly neighbors, and the canal was wonderful to fish from when it was too windy. Clean, great kitchen supplies, fantastic view, and host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We took the bridge onto the penninsula due to gas cans, and It was jeep weekend. Initial traffic getting through Crystal Beach was time consuming, however, once we got to the property, there was not any of that type of party going. Property is close to the ferry crossing, which was nice for day trip to Galveston. Great memories made, thank you!

No boat dock made this a bust.
I've leased in this cove before just a few doors down from this property. We specifically rented this place and paid a premium compared to other rentals because it is advertised as having a boat dock. Well, the boat dock is all torn up and not usable. The three-story layout of this place makes it a bit "wonky" to use. Again, we were willing to overlook this so we could have the covered fishing from a boat dock. We brought this to the attention of the rental company immediately upon our arrival and were told they'd let us out of the contract if we wanted. Well, this was a big family gathering (son's high school graduation) and we had a bunch of family renting a second place closer to the beach as well as having many other family members staying in RV's etc. so we couldn't just abandon the event and drive back to Dallas. Having talked to some of the neighbors it sounds like the boat dock has been out of order for a very long time but the place is still advertised as having a dock. This shouldn't be allowed. I feel the fact that the boat dock wasn't operable is a material breach of our rental agreement. I'm going to pursue a partial refund.

We always appreciate hearing from our guests. We like to have a true and honest feedback so that we can rectify any wrongs or shortcomings. We will take the opportunity to clarify that we have advertised the boat docks as unavailable in our listing for over a year. Our docks are for boats, and are not advertised for dock fishing, and John and his group were dock fishing. Congratulations to John's son on his Graduation and we are glad they got to use our boat dock for dock fishing(we had one side available for their use).
We had a great time! The condo was clean and comfortable. We love Laguna Harbor and stay here at least once a year. Wonderful little community and a premier fishing spot! We can’t wait to come back!!!
Kitchen was well supplied with appliances, dishes, and basic pantry items. Toiletries, towels, and linens were adequate. Docking our boat at our back door was convenient, and the public launch is very close. Fishing was great right off our dock. Caught sand trout, speckled trout, flounder, redfish in numerous quantities and many in legal size. We had a great time. Only negative is that the kitchen and views are on the 3rd floor. That’s a lot of steps to carry your groceries for us old timers.
The property was exactly what our family needed. A place to slow down, rest, and fish. The atmosphere at Laguna Harbor itself is super quiet. The house provided daily exercise with all the steps between floors. The home was nicely furnished. It was a great experience.
We stayed for a weekend and wanted to stay a week once we got there. 😊 The house is amazing! The kids fished and crabbed right outside the door. I enjoyed the porches and quiet! We will definitely be back!
Supplies limited like no paper towels. Very few towels, thankfully washer dryer so you get to do laundry while on vacation. Absolutely not baby friendly or safe. Boat slip broken and ropes off. All patio furniture falling apart if you even touched a chair piece es would fall off. Had to buy batteries to get bed to work. It is a sleep number but without batteries in remote you stuck sleeping on last person setting. I would not stay here again. Felt like a motel more than a home.
