Spacious Three Bedroom Mountain Villa with Pool

Villa Du Tour is a spacious house with a large swimming pool, set in a private location with panoramic mountain views. The house is located on the outside of the village of Serdinya in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The villa is the ideal location / base for lovers of the sun, walking, hiking, skiing (in the winter months) and history - the surrounding area abounds in historic monastries and priories and is steeped in Cathar and Catalan history. The area has numerous footpaths and hiking trails some of which start from the villa.

The Villa has three large bedrooms, two with french windows onto the sun terrace and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The spacious lounge / dining room has a vaulted ceiling and opens onto a sun terrace ideal for sunbathing and outdoor entertainment - a wonderful place for eating al fresco. Here you can also relax and admire the mountain views.

The "Petit Train Jaune" (the little yellow train) is a very popular tourist attraction that takes passengers up the valley and can be seen and heard, with its friendly "toot toot whistle" from the grounds of the villa.

Villa Du Tour is ideal for large families or groups of friends who wish to explore the region and its many attractions. Serdinya is a quiet village with a beautiful church and small village shop and cafe which has a wonderful sun terrace with stunning views of the Canigou Mountain, a perfect place to enjoy lunch.

All security cameras are switched off when the property is occupied. These devices are only located in the following locations
1) outside terraces (but not covering the lower pool terrace nor pool)

Lovely stay in the wonderful Pyrenees

Great location and a nice traditional comfortable villa with lots of space for all of us and really well stocked. The outside of the villa looks a little in need of repair in places but very chic and in keeping with the area. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool due to water restrictions but it looked great - also had a few issues with power cuts but they were resolved really quickly by the caretaker and hosts. There was also lots of information left by the owners about the village and surrounds which was really helpful. We loved the area - perfect for the Yellow Train, walking and exploring the area. Villefranche and Eus are both a must see and very nearby.

Huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt…niet het modernste, maar eigenlijk wel zo charmant…zwembad heel fijn…keuken prima..bedden ook..badkamer kan wel opknappertje gebruiken.In de buurt meer dan voldoende te doen. Trip naar Spanje aan te raden als ook de Gorges de Caranca

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa spacieuse, confortable, extrêmement propre, et très bien équipée. Le jardin et la piscine sont particulièrement agréables. La vue est très dégagée et les environs très calmes. Le village de Serdinya peut être rejoint rapidement à pied comme en voiture. La situation est idéale pour faire des excursions dans les Pyrénées et la vallée de la Têt. Carole et Christopehe nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux et sont extrêmement serviables et prévenants. Nous recommandons absolument!

Fürstliche Villa in Sonnenlage

Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern funktionierte problemlos, das Haus ist mit allen notwendigen Utensilien furs Kochen ausgestattet, die Zufahrt ist das erste Mal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dann geht es gut, die Kontaktperson telefonisch immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem: ein problemloser Aufenthalt in einem schönen Anwesen, leider umständdehalber ohne Pool.

Toller Aufenthalt mit Hunden

Schönes Haus in schöner Lage, gut ausgestattet und geräumig. Leider war die Poolfilteranlage defekt, so dass wir den Pool nicht nutzen konnten, aber dafür wurde uns ein Teil der Kosten rückerstattet. Der Garten ist groß und größtenteils eingezäunt, so dass unsere Hunde durchaus frei darin herumlaufen konnten. Die Kommunikation mit der netten Besitzerin verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer sowohl landschaftlich wie auch historisch interessanten Umgebung. Wir werden gerne zurückkommen.

Amazing Mountain retreat

The Villa was exactly as described; spacious for a family of 4, in an amazing location in the mountains and with a lovely swimming pool. The villa was clean and tidy and with all we needed for a family of four . It was a great base from which to explore the local area and some absolutely amazing villages in the mountains with some of the most picturesque landscapes we have seen. Our host Liz responded to every enquiry we made and in particular when there was a small issue with a light in the pool area she arranged to have it resolved within a few hours, what more can you ask. I would highly recommend the Villa to anybody wanting to explore this area of the Pyrenees mountains and the south west French coast

Besondere Lage in den Pyrenäen

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Serdinya. Die Lage des Hauses ist Einzigartig mitten im Grünen gelegen. Das Haus ist extrem geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Von Außen hat es einen morbiden Charme. Laurent - der Concierge - hat uns stets hilfsbereit zur Seite gestanden wenn es ein Problem oder Fragen gab.

Excellent sejour

Séjour très agréable dans un bel environnement. Même si la présence d'une route en contrebas amène un peu de bruit , l'impression d'isolement et de tranquillité est là. L'arrivée s'est bien passée même si il a fallu un peu chercher la boîte à clés (sous la pluie). Propreté et équipements des lieus parfaits. Maison fraîche et très agréable La proximité de nombreuses randonnées,de la mer (1heure) de l'Espagne et d'Andorre fait de ce lieu de résidence un petit paradis, dépaysant et reposant. Nous remercions bien-sûr Laurent pour ses conseils touristiques avisés.

Une charmante villa isolée

La villa est très agréable, un peu isolée pour garantir l'intimité mais pas non plus complètement perdue. Son cadre est très agréable. La maison en elle-même est belle, grande et a du charme, même si elle n'est plus toute jeune et mériterait d'être un peu rénovée ou un peu plus entretenue, en particulier les extérieurs (peinture, barrières en bois et jardin). La maison en elle même était globalement propre. Elle est très bien équipée en électroménager (lave vaisselle, lave linge...), vaisselle et linge de maison. En revanche, une seule salle de bain / toilette me semble un peu juste pour une maison avec 3 chambres. Par les chaudes journées d'été, la piscine est ensoleillée et très agréable. Il ne faut pas hésiter à solliciter le concierge car la piscine a tendance à se salir vite à cause des insectes. Enfin, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans les environs. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Grande propriété à l'écart du village, nombreuses terrasses ensoleillées. Chambres spacieuses et piscine très agréable. Laurent est aux petits soins pour les vacanciers et toujours avec le sourire! Par contre l'unique salle de bain- WC pour 6 est une source de conflit d'utilisation. De même la route nationale qui passe à 300m de la maison sur le versant opposé crée une nuisance sonore réelle.

Comme à la maison !

Avant tout merci à Laurent pour son accueil et son sens du service. La Maison est très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour en famille. La villa bien que vieillissante est agréable et la piscine parfaite. Bémols : présence d’une route à proximité parfois un peu bruyante...mais vite oubliée dès que l’on est au bord de la piscine ! La literie n’est pas au top et mériterait Un renouvellement.

La propriété est très grande et sans vis à vis. Piscine privée très bien entretenue. Personne de contact sur place très serviable et attentionnée (merci Laurent). Trois belles chambres. Cuisine super équipée. Seul bémol : pas de ravitaillement dans le village, il faut aller à Prades. Belles possibilités d'excursions dans la région. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs.

Le plus de cette maison est laurent toujours joignable,serviable et prêt à rendre service au moindre soucis.la piscine est très agréable après des belles randonnées dans cette belle région. Location ideale

Tout est fait pour que l on ne manque de rien, que l on se sente bien et c est reussi. La maison, la terrasse, le jardin, la piscine tout est parfait. La situation geographique est ideale pour les balades a pieds ou partir visiter les alentours. Un big up egalement pour Laurent qui est d une grande gentillesse et efficacite que ce soit pour les bons conseils pour visiter la region, pour un probleme ou pour l entretien de la maison/piscine il est toujours disponible et avec bonne humeur. En resume vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance

Idéal séjour culturel et sportif loin du tumulte de la ville

Très bon séjour à la Villa du Tour. Excellente prestation de services d'accueil et d'accompagnement tout au long du séjour. La villa est située à flanc de colline a proximité de plusieurs sites de randonnées et de visites culturelles ce qui est un plus. Une barrière végétale fait écran avec le trafic de la route au loin. Le petit bémol serait la distance avec les commerces : il est nécessaire d'avoir un véhicule, ne serait-ce que pour aller à l'épicerie d'Olette à 5km. Je rêve d'y séjourner à nouveau.

Beautiful Spacious Villa

The villa is exceptional, very large, attractive terraced grounds, with a good sized pool. It's also very well appointed, with just about everything you might need whilst away, and more besides. Just 10 mins from the walled town of Villefranche-de- Conflent, with many beautiful walks and activities nearby, and Font Romeau about 45 mins away via a spectacular drive that's worth doing for the views. The little yellow train passes below the property which is another must do for visitors. Oh, and terrific night skies too, with no light pollution.
