This house is great. Clean inside, everything you need (full stocked kitchen), great yard, excellent garage. Located near everything you would ever want in Durango. The host is amazing!
My husband and I along with our dog and 4 children stayed for a little over 2 months while our home was being renovated. Such a nice home and great location! Home had everything to create a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Owner was responsive and eager to accommodate us with anything additional we may have needed. Neighborhood was quiet as well which we appreciated! Would definitely recommend this property!

Both of us attended college here at Ft Lewis and while we have both lived other places neither of us had ever found a place quite like Durango. We have both now Lived in town for more than 25 years. Yona is a nurse at the local hospital and Joe is a fly fishing guide and carpenter. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to live and raise a family in such a unique location.
Why they chose this property
The home has been recently completely remodeled so basically like new. Were about six blocks to main street and the train station so the location makes walking or biking downtown easy. Access to the bike path is only two blocks away and a large park with a playground is three blocks from the front door. We have two other vacation rentals in Durango and manage all three ourselves. We live just a few minutes from each one so are always available should you need anything.
What makes this property unique
The home has central air conditioning, not window units, for our clients comfort. The yard is professionally landscaped and is fenced for pets, children, and privacy. Unlike most rentals in town you have access to a garage for storage of toys, bikes, a trailer, or a small car. The location is within walking or biking distance to downtown, the train station, and many of the great restaurants Durango has to offer.
