About this property

Cottage by the Beach

Our adorable cottage has 3 bedrooms, a huge deck, fans, board games, a TV with DVD player and so much more! Only 1 mile from the beach and 10 minutes from wineries, St. Joseph, South Haven and delicious restaurants and breweries. This past year we got a Dollar General across the street that has everything you need: coffee, snacks, water toys, toiletries, super convenient. This place is a getaway that our family absolutely loves and we hope you love it, too!

Nice location and good deal

Close to Benton Harbor, St. Joseph & South Haven. The house was okay and fit our needs. We were out doing stuff most of the time so it worked out good for this trip. The price was very good and the owner communicated / answered all question leading up to our stay.

Relaxing lake trip

We visited several beaches while here. Most everything we went to see was a fairly easy quick drive. House was nice for what we required. Quiet location.

I live in Chicago full time, have 3 kids and love to travel. Our place in Michigan is one our favorite places in the world.

Why they chose this property

We had to gut this house and redo it, but the location was so ideal we couldn't pass up the opportunity. We now have 3 kids so we need the bedrooms, and because we have so much outdoor space we never, ever feel cramped. It's so peaceful, fun, relaxing and a total getaway. We don't have Wifi, central air conditioning or a microwave on purpose but we have air conditioning units for the very hot summer days.
