The Captain invites you to sink in and relax while he is out to sea, which is quite arguably his real home. He has left behind a 3 bedroom plus loft, 2 bathroom, home plus a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse in Poinsettia Heights. It sleeps 10 people in Twin and King beds and is complete with an underwater machine, star projector, periscope, soaking tub, and beach equipment. The home is within a few miles of Fort Lauderdale Beach and are close to Wilton Manor, downtown and more. Not to worry, the Captain has left a list of his favorite seafood joints, a Captain's log, and if you are lucky, a spot of rum.
From the periscope to the star projector, The Captain's Quarters is a place best discovered by travelers who decide to visit. It's unique design and playful decor make it an ideal escape from reality.

Landlubbers can head due south (to Sunrise Blvd) or east (to US 1 / Federal Hwy) to reach major thoroughfares where public transportation via bus is available, but Uber & Lyft is readily available.
One block West of the home there are two bus stops, one northbound and one southbound. We do not suggest public transportation in Fort Lauderdale as it's not fully developed as in larger cities.
If you do not plan to rent a vehicle at the airport we suggest using Sixt rent-a-car on Sunrise Blvd. It's within a 5-minute drive from the home and has great vehicles for guests traveling in large groups.
Prior to your stay, we will share our Google-powered digital guide of the city so you can explore Fort Lauderdale like a local.
Each one of our homes is specifically designed with guests in mind and maintained at the same level as a hotel.
