Awesome spot and cozy cabin
It's a really cool location and property. The kids loved the zip line which really moves! The loft has the bedroom that includes bunk beds as well as the futon space which is fine for kids. Asmara the owner was great with providing info in a timely way and we were able to manage the utilities w/o much problem. One of the pictures implies their is wifi present, but there was not when we stayed, nor is their satellite tv or cell service. No problem for us since 'un-connecting' was part of the appeal, but could be an issue if you were expecting otherwise. The only real negative was that the fridge was useless. It never got cold at all, even when we had the generator on. To be honest, even a working fridge may not have been useful since we only ran the generator a few hours a day. The generator needs to be turned off by 10pm for the neighbors, plus because the generator is loud and doesn't smell great when it is running. Overall great and would stay again!

Entrepreneur, vacation rental host, wife and mom of 4 great kids. We enjoy the great outdoors, hiking, camping, traveling and boating. Thank you for your interest in our cabin, we would love for you to be our guest. We hope you have as much fun as we do in Duck Creek.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the cabin the moment we saw it. We certainly enjoy the great outdoors and this property gave us an Amazing Upgrade from Tent camping. We call it Glamping! Surrounded by Pine-trees, local wild life, hiking trails and located in a friendly community of like minded neighbors, we didn't mind at all that the Cabin was powered by a Generator. Most of the cabins in the area have either generators or solar systems.

What makes this property unique

People in Duck Creek are friendly and helpful with a community mentality. There are so many outdoor activities to pick from. Local entertainment range from Horseback riding, ATV rides to Off Road vehicle rentals. Snowmobile rentals in the winter, Restaurants, Community Activities, Caves, Hiking, Fishing etc. There are beautiful lakes nearby like Aspen Mirror, Navajo Lake, Duck Creek Pond and Panguitch Lake. Duck Creek is 42 Miles from Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, 30 Miles from Brian Head and 22 Miles from Panguitch lake.
