Communication is everything and the host was excellent in answering any questions that we had through out our stay. There was always a fast response. The view from the home is beautiful and it really gives you that true cabin feel. Would highly recommend
Older cabin with lots of charm! The host was very responsive to any messages. Love that it was pet friendly, the host was very accommodating. Overall, we had a great stay. A couple things of note, it could definitely use a deep clean, the oven does not work (at least we couldn't figure it out most of the knobs were missing), and the back patio was extremely icey.
Awesome getaway from Las Vegas life, host welcomed my family which included 2 larger dogs. Great views, and short trips into duck creek when something is needed. Would definitely stay again
We had a great stay here, the cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed! Super easy check-in, great location-we saw deer in the meadow right out front and the stars at night from the porch are beautiful. Thank you for making our 4th so wonderful!
The cabin was a perfect place in a great location. We only stayed a few days but it had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in Zion and Bryce Canyons. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions.
Hidden Gem in the Duck CreeK Village/Strawberry Valley Area.
This cabin/home was truly amazing! The host was the most responsive and attentive to all questions and needs that we requested. Spectacular views and living quarters. I have stayed/rented at lest 8 - 10 cabin's at the Duck Creek Village area, and "The Runway Cabin" was bar far the most exquisite and well supplied rental of them all!!I highly recommend this property and host!Thank you from everyone in or party of 4.We will definitely be back.Cynthia
We had an unforgettable stay at the Runway Cabin in Duck Creek! The cabin itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with every comfort and amenity we could ask for. The views were absolutely stunning—whether you were enjoying your morning coffee on the deck or winding down in the evening, the scenery never disappointed. The hosts were fantastic—professional, friendly, and incredibly responsive. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and they truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The Duck Creek area is packed with amazing places to explore—national parks, trails, and hidden gems all within reach. But honestly, the cabin was so cozy and relaxing, you could easily spend your entire trip just unwinding there. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a peaceful escape, this cabin delivers on both. We can’t wait to come back!
The house was a little older but perfect for our annual multi-family get together. The house is situated on top of a hill so the roundabout driveway made for great fun for everyone to sled down. The hot tub was not working and it was one of the reasons we chose the house but the communication between the owner and our group was great and the main room is wide and open for everyone to hang out together. Overall great time for everyone!
This was a last-minute booking. Communication with the host was excellent. The host provided a nice property guidebook both online and physical copy. The property was as advertised. Nice location looking out over a mountain meadow. Lots of wildlife watching. There are two sitting rooms on the sun-facing side of the house. If it gets a little cool during the day, these are excellent warm places to watch the day pass.
Beautiful cabin and property! 6 of us were very comfortable and had lots of space. There are 2 sunrooms and the ground floor living room as well as a 2nd floor living room w fireplace (bring your own wood)! Kids could game/movies while adults enjoyed the fire and HOT TUB. Winter road conditions are no joke - be prepared. 1hr 20 mins on winter roads to ski hill at Brianhead, but it was worth it for the quiet and the dramatic scenery. We would stay again in a heart beat!!!
My husband, dog and I really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It was very relaxing and easy to get to. The property owner McKay is very easy to communicate with and he responds very quickly. The cabin is fully equipped with all the kitchen appliances and utensils that you would have at home. They had more than enough linens just like you would at your own house. This cabin has all the comforts of home.
We saw deer every night which came right onto the property. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to take a trip to Duck Creek. We would definitely stay here again.
This house - property is very nice with a big living room - common area and fireplace. Unfortunately due to the excessive snow the hot tub wasn’t available. The owner is very responsive and tried to do everything possible to make up for the hot tub not being available. Would recommend a better Leaning service as the house could have been cleaner upon arrival.
We only stayed the night, but we loved this cabin! Everything was clean, neat, and really well organized! I really appreciated that the cabinets were all labeled so easy to find what you’re looking for.
The neighborhood is quiet and faces a meadow. We saw tons deer and they come right through the yard! There is a nice wrap around porch to watch all the wildlife and even a telescope to look at the stars or the deer in the meadow. The back of the house has a hot tub, sitting area, and a fire pit.
McKay was quick to respond and very helpful. My only complaint is, I wished we stayed longer! We had a great time.

Cleanliness
Cabin location was awesome.!The cleanliness was lacking, rugs were filthy and smelled of dog urine. The furniture could use an update , it was pretty tattered as well. Hot Tub needed maintenance, we cleaned it and topped off with clean water, it was pretty dirty It's great they allow pets but probably best to have no rugs or the washable kind. We took our dogs but we kenneled them if we were gone. We would definitely stay again, but would hope the cleanliness is much better!
We had a blast for my bday at this cabin. There was plenty of snow and we didn’t have to go anywhere because the driveway was so steep that our kids made ramps and sled down it for hours. They loved the den downstairs and all the games. Everything was perfect, the view and the sun deck were my favorite. The jaquzzi was not fillled enough and we were only able to use it for one night because the water had drained out of it… so I would just check to make sure the level of that is filled enough for more then a nights use. The driveway is very steep, we had snow tires and chains and were not able to drive up to the house. We even got stuck, luckily we made friends with a plow truck and he got us out. We had to park at the bottom and carry our things up. Which was a bit exhausting but doable. We had a great time at this cabin and def want to come back!
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. The check in was a breeze and the cabin was well equipped. The sunsets and starry nights were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place / beauty views but it needs some minor repairs.
Had to call the owner to figure out how to work the main tv and he quickly walked me through it. Instructions in his binder would have been very helpful. (U tube tv channel ? )
The hot tub is great at night stars everywhere. The quiet and the view from the front porch are great especially when the is a herd of deer 100 yards away and Not having any homes close by was perfect.
Yes we would rent here again BUT not until somethings are repaired.
Fix the ceiling fan over the dining room table. Put working light bulbs in the fan in the living room. Fix the ceiling fan in master bedroom ( only one speed worked ). The footrests on both couches go up BUT don't go back down. The back stoop at bottom of door is rotting away and needs to be immediately repaired before somebody steps on it and falls.
Please put a few $ into this Beautiful property!!

Why they chose this property
We were married in February 2021 and wanted a cabin in the mountains to escape to and make memories with our family. There's so much to do and and have fun with up in Duck Creek Village that it made perfect sense. We love that we can share the cabin with other families as well!
