Stay in an original farmhouse built in 1849, nestled in a valley in N. Central Ohio. Snuggle in front of the fireplace in winter and sit back with a cool drink on the back porch in summer. Take long walks in the woods on the 160 acre property any time! Located close to Amish country, and local wineries. This farm house is recently renovated with all modern conveniences. Central air, forced air natural gas furnace, a natural gas fireplace, hardwood floors, wifi and enhanced lighting. Sleeps 11 guests. Located 20 minutes from Loudonville and Millersburg. Spend a day at Ohio's largest tourist attraction- Berlin. Great for bikers (of all kinds!) and is located 2 miles from the trail head for the Holmes County Trail. Pet friendly

Family Weekend Getaway

Return trip to Marymount Hideaway for a weekend getaway at Mohican. The cottage is comfortable and cozy and in a great location. We enjoyed the side porch and firepit and delicious apple pie waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. Owners are great and we can't wait to return! What a gem!

Wonderful weekend get-a-way

The property was very clean and wonderfully restored. What a neat old farmhouse with a lot of privacy. It is very scenic setting within 20 mins of Amish Country attractions and Mohican State Park. The owners left us a Dutch Apple Pie and enough bottled water to last us the weekend- which was beyond what we expected! We would definitely stay there again!

Country living at its best

Comfortable house. Beautiful location. Thoughtful welcome info from host. The homemade apple pie was the best surprise! No cell service at the house but the wifi was reliable. Enjoyable visit. Would stay here again.5-stars. 🙂

Beautiful Country Getaway

We traveled to the area to visit Millersburg & the surrounding area but spent most of our weekend enjoying the house & its surroundings. The house was so comfy & perfectly furnished. It was a beautiful country road drive to town that took about 20 minutes. We enjoyed watching the horses across the road & there was ample yard space for our dog to play. We hope to stay here again!

Amish country vacation

Great property, loved the scenery and quiteness. Very clean inside., everythng you need. Outside could use a little tending to, porches were filled with spider webs, spiders and bugs, especially the front porch. Power washing or bug spraying would help.

Easter Holiday

Very quaint and quiet. Cute and cozy quarters. We developed a leaking toilet that Mark and his son quickly repaired in the late evening- first one we were told. Thanks for the time and your repair. The two horses are simply amazing to watch and pet- loved them to pieces.

Beautiful Property

This was a beautiful property and great location and you couldn't get any more private . my husband and I very much enjoyed ourselves and relaxed alot. all the amenities were provided I would only say it could use a little updating with bedding and lamps and fixtures of that nature. at that price point you come to expect a better bedding and bedroom furniture but place was clean , roomy and comfortable. this was the 1st time I ever forgot my phone charger and the 1st time someone actually provided one. I was very grateful!

The host was extremely patient and helpful with my lack of ability when it comes to anything having to do with computer technology. The house was charming and comfortable and the location is very quiet and peaceful. We fully enjoyed our stay, as did our cat Winnie.

We were in town for a wedding at the Mohican Treehouse Resort and the home was a great alternative to staying in a treehouse. The location was great and the house clean. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Mark was very responsive to our questions.

Yearly trip to Holmes county

This is the first time we have stayed at this location. We ended up here because this year we had our little dog with us and they allow pets. The property was very peaceful and we enjoyed our stay. The apple pie they left us was so good. When we first went in I told my husband it wasn't real. I thought it was just decorative! Lol TOLD MY
