Nice enough, but not 1st choice
We just stayed in this property this past week. It was our first time in the Sea Haunts complex.
Pros—The complex and location were nice.
We were a bit surprised to be using a shared pool with the complex next door but it still worked out fine.
The communication with the rental company was good and we actually got to check in early.
The provided beach accessories (wagon, chairs, toys, etc) were nice to have for sure
Cons—there are no mirrors in any of the rooms except over the sink mirrors in each bathroom. Our group goes out to dinner once or twice and does family pictures. It’s hard to get ready for anything when you have 7-9 people using the bathrooms and there are no mirrors in the bedrooms.
It was very lacking in clothing/necessities storage outside of one Rubbermaid 3 drawer “dresser”.
The toilet seats in each of the bathrooms were all loose.
The AC was hard to control without having to call someone. It consistently got up to 78/79 each day we were there. Not sure if that’s just how it is in Florida or if it should have been easier to control.
There was some sand still on the floor upon arrival but we normally sweep or vacuum every other day or so when we go bc none of us enjoy walking on sand everyday but there were no brooms or vacuums to do that with.
The kitchen could be better stocked. We had to improvise a few times. There were no saucepans at all, only 2 large stock pans. The can opener didn’t work at all.
