The layout of the house worked really well for our family with plenty of space and fabulous views. It was cold outside but we were able to warm the house up quickly and really enjoyed the fire. The communication for check-in was really good and we felt able to ask questions and get guidance. A great base to explore Hobart

The beds were amazing The beds were comfortable, heaters in each bedroom and we all slept well. We were a large group and this house catered perfectly with 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The views were spectacular and location quiet. The house was easy to find and there was lots of parking.Unfortunately we arrived to find a house that needs a good clean and some maintenance to damaged walls, furniture, kitchen cabinetry, washing machine (didn’t work) toast left in the toaster from a previous visitor. Nothing a deep clean and a handyman couldn’t fix.
Views, views viewsThe House is very well laid out for a family of 7. The view from the rooms over looked the Bay and the Sun rises were awesome. We had a great time, great location.
The property location was outstanding with fantastic views and convenient to amenities. The house was exactly what we needed to enjoy a relaxing and casual 8 day break.
The home was beautiful. All rooms had a view of the Marina and surrounds. Peaceful neighbourhood. Good base for getting around Jobart and surrounds. Beds were comfortable. 2 living areas meant we could have personal space to do our own thing. Unfortunately central heating was not working. Reverse cycle was sufficient to heat kitchen/dining and upper floors but hallway at the lower level remained cold. There was a fireplace but after a full day of sightseeing, we couldn’t be bothered. Individual heaters in rooms provided sufficient heat. Walking trails near house which gave opportunity to view the bay, Derwent river and and Mt Wellington. All in all it was a pleasant stay.
The house is large, we had a family of 6, there was plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. Also the house while not in Hobart central, it is only about 8 minutes drive and the local area had lots of shopping, eating and relaxing opportunities.
We had a fabulous stay in a bright, open split level home. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of space and we never felt on top of each other. The million dollar view is incredible. It is such a great location, close to everything and just a quick 15min walk to Eastlands Shopping Centre. The house was very clean, great amenities and great communication with host. The beds were the best, so comfortable. I would absolutely recommend!

Great views. Can't use backyard
Place had great views plenty of space. Backyard not safe for children. Photos need to be updated to current condition
Not recommended - not equipped for winter & the backyard is unsafe for anyone with small children. The heating in the house is inadequate making the kitchen & dining unusable & the living area uncomfortable, even during the day. The central heating doesn’t work, and the one split unit for the whole house doesn’t heat the area even if left on overnight. The room with the fireplace was too cold to use and we had to close off. The host provided small oil heaters in the bedrooms, however the rooms were still cold & once plugged in tripped the power off. The fuse box still had ceramic fuses for half the circuits, so we were not able to switch the power to the 3 downstairs bedrooms back on. With inadequate bedding for these rooms, my friends & I had a freezing night on our holiday. To make matters worse, the tripped circuit also fed the hot water so we could not shower and had to move to a hotel. We struggled to get a hold of the host to resolve the issues and had no assistance finding alternate accommodation. Overall cleanliness was not great (bed linens had stains, glass was not clean, wet towels in bathroom), and there is a spa in the back that has no cover or fence which is a safety hazard for small children. Great view but it can’t make up for the short comings, some significant work required to make this suitable for rental. We did get a part refund from the host however we were charged the cleaning fee which was an insult given we had to move to a hotel for 2 nights.
