Close to restaurants, cafes and a 5 minute walk from a supermarket, you’ll never be short of dining options.

This beautifully appointed townhouse comfortably sleeps 9 (4 rooms/2 bath), with kitchen & living space. The balcony is perfect for BBQs or a glass of local wine in the evening.

The Space:
We are able to offer sleeping arrangements for up to nine people, including a king single rollaway in the top bedroom., please confirm the preferred setup at time of reservation as we'll be unable to change this on the check in date.

The apartment’s location means it is the ultimate setting for a getaway for a group of friends & family, offering 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms; comfortably sleeping 9 guests.

With secure, off-street parking for 2 cars (one behind the other), and a location less than 3 blocks from Hobart’s waterfront, this apartment provides a fantastic base from which to explore Hobart & Southern Tasmania.

- Free Netflix means that there’s always something to watch when you want to unwind after a busy day of exploring Hobart - browse thousands of movies and shows for free!

Dining options:
- Whether you want to eat in or go out, there’s no shortage of choice. If you decide to cook, you’re only 5 minutes walk from a Woolworths supermarket, and the fully appointed kitchen and BBQ mean that you can unleash your inner Masterchef. If you wish to explore Hobart’s eateries, you’re only 5 minutes walk from restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars.

Laundry:
- Front loading washing machine and dryer, as well as drying racks and ironing facilities and washing detergent are provided.

Children:
Cots & high chairs are available, when requested at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. Cot (with linen) is an additional $15 fee as we rent it.

Getting Around:
Stage Door apartments are a convenient 20 minute drive from Hobart Airport, or a $40 taxi ride. The Hobart Airport shuttle bus picks up and departs from Fountainside (rates and booking available online - search "Airporter Hobart")

You will have access to the whole apartment, which is laid out as follows:

GROUND FLOOR

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is complete with all you could need, including an electric oven, electric stove top, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and crocker, cutlery & glassware for 10 people. Weber BBQ (with gas) also located on the balcony.

LAUNDRY:
A washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities are handily located in a cupboard adjoining the kitchen.

LIVING/DINING:
Table seating for up to 10 guest, and then space to relax with a comfy 3-seater couch and occasional chairs. The large screen TV, Netflix and free broadband WI-FI internet provide the perfect way to relax after a day exploring Hobart’s sites.

BALCONY:
The balcony is accessed off the lounge/dining area, and appointed with 2 chairs and a table, ideal for relaxing in the afternoon sun with a glass of lovely Tasmanian, or presiding over the Weber BBQ provided.

We were there in December to welcome the boats from Sydney and Melbourne racing down to Hobart, and the property 's location was absolutely perfect. Walk to the Marina, walk to the shops or to the Salamanca market, it is all there walking distance.

We arrived at the property late at night and went to lock the front door for the night, however, it would not lock. I was provided a maintenance issue phone number for emergencies which I contacted. At no point did I know who I was contacting. Somehow a lady next door (I assume) came and tried to fix it. She didn't mention who she was. She then informed me that the lock was unable to be fixed (because it was so late at night) and that it would be done by mid morning the next day. Even though the apartment sits within an apartment complex, our door is the first one up the stairs straight from the street. The lock was fixed the next day. As a family of 5, we all had our own bedrooms. The parking was a bit tight for our large car (ford ranger). The curtains need an upgrade and most are falling off the tracks and some are impossible to close. The toilet on the second floor also has a leaking problem. The location of the place is great. Only a short 15 minute walk down the the restaurant area on the waterfront. There is also a woolworths supermarket within walking distance. It is right next door to the hospital, so we did hear a few ambulance sirens and helicopters flying past.
