Truly spectacular view and brilliant location. The bach has a lovely feel to it. Great for a couple of days break from the city. Kitchen well equipped.
Our favorite Kapiti spot. The perfect Kiwi bach - considered, calm, simple and cosy. Beautiful design and view. Everything you could need. Kind and thoughtful hosts - thanks so much for your hospitality!

We have stayed here several times now and it feels like coming home. Comfy, welcoming and an obviously well loved home, we love it here for the peace and quiet, simplicity, sun and view of Kāpiti Island - always changing.

The accommodation is very basic, which may suit those looking for a simple stay. The highlight for us was the view; however, on its own it didn’t quite justify the 568 cost for two nights. The property appears to have had little maintenance in recent years. There were signs of water leaks on the ceiling and the furniture was tired and not particularly comfortable. It’s a shame, as with a few small updates the place could be much nicer. A fresh coat of paint, some more comfortable furniture, and attention to a few maintenance issues—such as the deck door being very difficult to open—would make a noticeable difference. We appreciate the charm of a simple retro bach, but overall the place didn't meet our expectations for the price. Having said that, the host's communication was excellent and she allowed us to come an hour earlier than the arrival time which was appreciated.
The property is in a beautiful setting and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Camilla was really helpful and gave us some good suggestions for the local area.
We will definitely come and stay again
