BEACHFRONT and affordable. Coopers Beach Retreat- "Tui Cottage" is a modern, comfortable beachfront bach, with its own beach access. Private and quiet it is north facing with all day sun. Sit back, relax and enjoy spectacular panoramic views across gardens to the beach and Doubtless Bay. Well appointed and fully furnished, self-contained with own BBQ area. Set on private 1/2 acre. Safe swimming beach which is also excellent for all water sports, diving, fishing,canoeing. 15 minutes from 18-hole golf course. A minutes drive to shopping centre or short walk along the beach. Ideal honeymoon destination. Escape the madness of city life and relax in peace and privacy. Enjoy the luxury of watching the everchanging mood of the sea and sky, the peace and tranquillity of this pohutukawa tree-lined beach.

"We stayed at Tui Cottage and liked it very much. We are German and travel to New Zealand often, but this place is truly outstanding! We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck and looking out to sea. Just a short stroll through a beautiful flowered garden directly to the beach. Inside was beautifully furnished and very clean, it felt like home. Thanks to Sue and Hugh, who are very friendly. We will definitely be back!!"

Fantastic stay, immaculate clean property with spectacular views, the gardens surrounding the property leading down to the beach is amazing. We loved our stay here with our 5 month old baby.Thanking you Sue & Hugh!

Lovely mini beach stay

We stayed here for two nights as a jumping point to Cape Reinga. Sue was a lovely host making sure we had everything we needed. A lovely cottage set up with spectacular views and easy beach access to your own almost secluded beach. Lots of local shops and cafes with good coffee and food. Would highly recommend.

amazing place to stay

we first walked in and new we were in for a good stay, everything was nice and clean and welcoming for us to stay, had the best view to wake up to and sit out on the deck and relax and eat, was a very nice walk to the beach just down a track from the back yard, we were very happy with our stay and definitely will be back. thank you Sue & Hugh :)

An absolute gem of a stay!

We absolutely adored our accommodation. The cottage was beautifully presented and very homely and welcoming with so many extra touches We took full advantage of the track to the beach and enjoyed a stroll along the sand before hopping in for a brief refreshing dip in the ocean. Our one regret was we were only there for one night!
