Excellent location as a base to explore the Far North. Very clean with easy access to the beach. Great unit on fabulous property. Perfect size for 2 friends travelling together. Cliff & Jennifer were wonderful hosts & have thought of everything you would need for your stay. Beautiful garden & friendly cat. Would highly recommend A++++
A Welcoming Place to Stay
My husband and I enjoyed "Sails", the very clean and well equipped unit built below Cliff and Jennifer's home. We weren't in need of anything more. The gardens surrounding the property are beautiful and the walk down a grassy slope to Cooper's Beach takes about a minute. The beach is very wide with hard packed sand and nice water (cool at 16˚C in September). You can walk to Taumarumaru Reserve at the far end of the beach as well.
We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with our hosts and snuggling with their sweet cat, Danny Boy.
VRBO/Homeaway requires you to use their app to get check in information which is why we deducted a star. I just emailed Cliff through the VRBO website and he always responded quickly.
We are very happy we chose this place as our base for exploring the Far North!

Location, location, location - unbeatable. What could beat having your own beach access at the bottom of your garden? Answer access to a number of beautiful swimming and walking beaches.
A comfortable, well appointed and extremely clean bach.
The hosts Cliff and Jennifer were very welcoming and had lots of recommendations regarding locations of interest, bush walks and beaches.
