Great place. Loots of space and almost everything you need.Would benefit from some modern upgrades. It has the look and capability of an early 2000's home complete with cathode ray tube TV and no internet. With already poor phone signal out there the owners should look to get some form of wifi going. But everything else was excellent Thank you
The property was perfect for a large group of people, with lots of space and a large kitchen. It was in a lovely location and we really enjoyed being able to take the kayaks down to the lake! Some of us did find there was limited service with our phone providers at the property, however this made for a perfect escape from technology!
Property was really clean and full of amenities that we could use. A really nice place, lake and surrounding mountains are really beautiful! Thanks for being a great host.
We loved our stay at this home. Was a great place to host 10 people. Each wing had doors to close off for sleeping, while the rest of us could commune in the great room. The views were to die for. Some members of the hosting family were on the property while we were there. They were very kind, even helping us with a flat tire. Would definitely stay again.
We are a University club, and we stayed here for our executive team bonding camp recently. The venue is absolutely STUNNING, with rolling hills and valleys surrounding the entire place, and an accessible lake for swimming and kayaking. We loved that the kitchen and living rooms were spacious, yet full of activities to do - such as ping pong tables, board games, National Geographic magazines to read, and more. We also appreciated that the firewood was chopped and ready to go for our fires! There were only a few downsides, and this included...- Cockroaches in the fridge (it gave us quite the fright whilst putting our groceries in!);-- The first aid kit (which we had to use when an exec member fell over) being extremely old and containing expired medication; and,-- A kayak which had a major crack in it and could no longer float. Otherwise, everything was generally clean and tidy, and the bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas were great.Overall, amazing place for large groups of people!
We absolutely loved our stay! The only down side was the showers they were either extremely hot or freezing cold, very minor negative but thought it was worth mentioning. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in this amazing location we will definitely be back at a later date. Maybe take some chilly bins for the bigger groups as we filled the fridge to the brim! :)
Such a great whanau weekend in a lovely spot right on the lake. Spacious living area, lovely amd helpful hosts and fun spending time in and on the lake. Thanks so much!!
Beautiful location, humble owners, friendly neighbours and most of all fabulous facility.
A place where all age groups can enjoy and relax..... classic Kiwi experience
We were 17 adults staying in this house and it was absolutely perfect. Even with crappy weather we were so happy with the weekend. I've recommended to so many people already. Absolutely fantastic experience!
My family stayed here for my dads 75th birthday and we loved it. My parents and the whole family enjoyed it so much that they want to stay extra nights. Will definitely come back. Beautiful place with beautiful views and close to Rotorua and Taupo. Happy customer here 👍🏽👍🏽🥰❤️
Amazing property - met all our needs and had the advantage of a lake right at our doorstep. Location was not to far from Rotorua and was peaceful and quiet. We will be rebooking for sure :-)
Awesone house for a large group. Heaps of room for children to run around . Bedroom layout is well thought for all . Definitely will return if in the area
Just wow.
We had a group of 6 adults and 8 children between 2 - 11 and this place had everything we could need!
Such an awesome weekend and we will be back.
The lodge was perfect for what our family required. Plenty of space, rooms and bathrooms. Living area is spacious and the ping pong table was a hit with the kids. Fire was warm, wood plentiful and plenty of board games for indoor activities. Would love to come back when the sun is out to enjoy the lake.
