I'm so glad that you both enjoyed your stay. I hope that you are able to hold on to that lovely relaxation and rejuvenation.
We stayed there for five days with our two dogs. The whole place is so wonderfully geared towards dogs. They had so much fun in Emma's private woods. The private grounds are also so large that they could both run around and play to their hearts' content. Perfect for dogs, but also a wonderful place to unwind for those who don't have pets.
If serenity is what your your looking for it's the rite place

The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed staying in a rural setting out of the noisy city. The host was really helpful and friendly and gave excellent local recommendations
We were very happy here.It was the most peaceful place we have stayed and had everything we needed to have a good rest. Particularly loved that it was NOT fragranced throughout and that it did NOT have TV or wifi. This was a bonus for us. We plan to come again and stay longer because this kind of restful retreat is rare to find.

A great location away from the rat race to serve as a base for exploring the region, and a super comfy bed to come back to after a long day! Lovely hosts too, and the home grown tomatoes we were gifted on departure were delicious. Thank you!

I'm happy you were able to have Christmas with the family (part-time) while they camped. But had a space of your own to get away to and rest.
Thank you for the review Peter.
See you next time!

Thank you Joanna for that wonderful review. It was lovely meeting you guys and we loved our chat with you. Your 2 dogs are gorgeous!
You four are welcome anytime!
It was lovely and clean and comfy bed and lovely and accommodating host. It would've been a plus if there was a tv although not a major as you dont go away to watch tv... a sofa to sit at rather than on the bed would've been better too.
Stunning location with tonnes of privacy. Natural hot springs 15mins drive, 30mins from town centre - perfect spot with lots to do. Thank you to our host Emma - very approachable & easy to contact, able to provide lots of information about the area and must-see spots. Will be back again to explore more of the area 😁

Emma has been so responsive, I appreciate the prompt communication! The property was easy to find and super clean. I loved the milk in the fridge as I was thinking of getting some, that was a great surprise. Very comfortable bed too. Highly recommend for people traveling with their dogs!

Lovely spacious space, comfortable bed with an electric blanket, private, beautiful views of the surrounding farmland, had everything you would need and Emma the host was so welcoming and friendly, we felt right at home especially with her delicious homemade bread, what a wonderful delight, we will be back.
The stay was great - easy place to stay close to Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland which is why we wanted to be there. Clean, roomy, nice bed and reasonably private. Very quite and scenic. Needs a curtain for the kitchen window and a bigger mirror in the bathroom. Also beware: no Wifi. I had two 4G bars on my phone so that was good enough but pretty limited.
