Kiwiana Bach in the Sand dunes

Our Bach is nestled in the sand dunes and has unimpeded views to Mt Mania, Whangarei Heads, Hen and Chicken Islands and beyond. Enjoy the secluded sand dune aspect with Pohutukawa trees for shade and privacy.

Cook on the well-equipped BBQ or in the kitchen, dine indoors or out, its perfect summer or winter. Use the covered verandah to stay out of the sun or rain, we've thought of everything so that you don't have to.

If you love beach walks, playing in the sand or swimming in the surf the white sandy surf beach is only a 2-minute walk away. If fishing is your thing there is a new marina boat ramp at One Tree Point (a 5-minute drive) or book a fishing charter with our neighbour. For shoppers there's local markets and bargains in the surrounding towns of Waipu and Whangarei. And there's a dairy or supermarket for your day to day needs just minutes away.

The property is big enough for all of your needs, bring the boat, tent and your dog for a complete family holiday. BOOK EARLY TO SECURE YOUR DATES!

Long weekends three night stay minimum. Larger groups by negotiation.
The peak summer period, Christmas to Auckland anniversary weekend has a minimum rental period of 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday.

Our host Maxine was very welcoming, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The location is superb, very private and with unobstructed views to Whangarei Heads, the sand dunes and beach. The deck was the most used area, we loved sitting under the pohutukawa trees and bird watching, bbqing, and watching the ever changing light on the Heads. We were very lucky with superb weather the entire stay and Ruakaka beach is magnificent for walking and swimming. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need - very comfortable bed in the Master, modern bathroom and the shower has good water pressure. Well equipped kitchen - we enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine. Overall, a very relaxing break away in a beautiful location.

A great 3 day stay with a group of old friends. The Kiwiana Bach was perfect, with 2 toilets and easy access bathroom. We are older couples and enjoyed the quiet area with beautiful view of Bream Head and Manaia. Maxine communicated well and we felt very welcomed, we will definitely be back.
