We spent a wonderful week at this perfect Pataua bach. The location right on the estuary is superb. The bach is the real thing but with add ons that make it great for a crowd.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my husband with the family. There was an issue with the power when we arrived due to the power providers updating some equipment but David was very responsive in helping us to sort it out .
The sheltered location was perfect for its beauty and proximity to the water for older and younger family members . We enjoyed using the kayaks and found the accommodation very comfortable.
This has to be the perfect place to unwind, relax and recoup. The old school kiwi bach with extras in the most amazing location a few steps from the water. David is an amazing host and great communicator. Thank you for the privilege of being able yo stay here.
Lovely spot! So much to do for kids that can swim and with the supplies kayaks. Loved the outdoor lounge and couches! Very relaxing in the evening.
Bach has great supplies and we found everything we needed easily. Sleep out with laundry is pretty rustic so my kids wouldn’t use it but the other sleepouts worked great with extended family and teens / kids. Will def come again!
We had a great time, real kiwi bach unbeatable location with all the things you need to make your stay easy. Kids jumped off the bridge, kayaked in the estuary, walked for miles on the beach. Plenty of space for two families. Host was kind and great to communicate with. Kids are already planning next stay. Thanking for allowing us to share you special place.
In spite of the rain we had a lovely stay. The kids had a blast with all the kayaking and spending time out doors with the pups! The house has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Thanks David
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bach invited us to relax and slow down. The kayaks were perfect for an early morning paddle or a high-tide afternoon adventure. It was easy to cross to the other side and experience the rugged beauty of the ocean beach.Beautiful kiwi batch.
Awesome location. I think this was the first time we have had a family holiday where there was so much going on with the tides always changing and the kids doing so much we didn’t even explore what was nearby. Just enjoyed the sea and the beach! Incredible location and cool to see if a family batch.
Nice little property. However a couple of concerns. Advise renters of dogs next door. Cockroaches in Family cabin ( was’nt pleasant). Lamp bulbs in family cottage not working Second room in main cottage had a funny smell. Noises in the walls at night. I’d say mice are in the walls. I love the location and the family enjoyed being together
We enjoyed a fabulous week with awesome winter weather, cold nights & sunny days.
Heaters kept us cosy in the right places at night with plenty of bedding. Our group enjoyed the privacy of the sleepouts.
Well equiped in all ways and the location is absolutely stunning. Loved using the kayaks in the safe estuary and sitting at the waters edge watching the bird life.
David thankyou for sharing your special piece of paradise with excellent arrival notes and useful details on boating. We had great days fishing and water-skiing.
We had two families staying along with our dog! A perfect spot. Right on the water. The kids especially enjoyed the kayaking, dart board and outdoor warm shower! Enough room for everyone. Our dog had the time of his life too. Warm and cozy. Close to the boat ramp, lots of fishing and diving! Kids loved jumping off the bridge. Will definitely come back.
The best get away for my whanau at the Emoji. Thank you David for letting us take care of your bach for the Easter weekend. As usual we did not want to leave. Great memories for our babies. And so very relaxing. Darts was a hit for us with a few coldies. Beautiful. We love it here!
