Honey Pot Pool Holiday Home Turangi

Fully furnished, 3 bedroom Home away from Home our place has extra comfortable beds and a heat pump that will effortlessly keep you and your family or friends toasty warm in winter and cool in summer.

Perfect for a family holiday the kitchen is all set up and the open plan lounge has a 42 inch flat screen TV. If you are a Fisherman there is a filleting table with hose out the back and plenty of freezer space. You will also be walking distance to the newly formed lower pool that the locals are calling the new Honey Pot Pool.

Activities to choose from in the area include:

6 minutes drive from the Tokaanu geothermal hot springs (pools)

Lake Taupo beaches – eg: Pukekawa Bay is a great day trip

Climbing Wall – family fun and serious climbing

Tongariro National Trout Centre – museum and kids fishing days

We had a wonderful stay at Julia's place. Location is perfect, only 5 min drive to local shops, New World and restaurants. An easy and short drive 50 mins) to Whakapapa is a bonus for us with young children. The house is cosy, spaces and comfortable for families with kids. The actual place look a lot better than in photos! We would definitely come back again!

We are a family of five that loves getting away to the out doors. We love all that Turangi has to offer as a family holiday destination. The river and lake fishing, mountain biking, village dining, skiing, hot pools and various other more touristy attractions. We use our place as a technology detox so no WIFI. It is time to read a great book ( excellent library in town)play traditional family board games and share conversation. We recommend walking down to the river and breathing the fresh air.

Why they chose this property

Look this is a family bach in every sense of the word. It is well maintained and nice an clean but we do expect you to have a similar holiday to ours. That does mean leaving the place as you found it, replacing what you use and disposing of your own rubbish. We are confident you will have a really awesome time in Turangi and our bach is a really great base. We love it when people see things that need to be done when they are there and let us know about it so we can see to it. Some really awesome people might even do a bit of weeding in the garden or replace a battery for us when they are there. It is all appreciated to keep the place ticking over and keep the price right down.
