About this property

Rose Lodge is a three bedroom home fully furnished with a separate sleep out. It is fully equipped and insulated. A woodburner with firewood provided gives warmth in living areas.The dining room is open plan. All bedrooms have heaters and all beds have electric blankets except the two bunks in the sleepout. In the lounge Digital Sky is available with selected movie and sports channels. The bathroom contains a basin ,bath,and a separate walk-in shower. There is ample hot water. The toilet is separate. The laundry contains a tub washing machine and dryer. The property has a lovely scenic outlook, it is fully fenced with parking, protected by security lights and there is plenty of on-street parking also. Close to the lake and the mountains, wonderful for winter and summer get-aways. Whakapapa is 35mins away, you can view the tops of Ngaruahoe and Tongariro from the house. Taupo is 40mins. Centre of town and river is 2-3mins and Tokaanu hot pools within 5min by car.

Lovely house

The house has everything you need to wash clothes, a dishwasher. Beds are comfy and neat. Overal a nice kitchen and bathroom. All and all a great, cute and welcoming house with character. With a nice view

What a little gem….

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage has everything one may need in a home away from home and it is close to all the main attractions! Quiet area and great to have the hotpools only a short drive away…perfect to relax after a busy day of activities!

Awesome place

Location so close to shops and eating places. Have everything you need too!! Thank you!! Kids love the bunk beds :) Ps: the only thing- I just realised we left my daughter’s fav pillow on the sofa 😭😭😭 Too late now we already reached home in thames

Amazing Service and Flexibility

The organiser of bookings for this property was super helpful and flexible. We had a few last minute requests, but the host managed them for us with ease. The property was so clean and tidy and a great place to stop for a couple of nights to do the Tongariro Crossing.
