We loved this little cabin on the river! Everything was exactly as described. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We especially loved the deck and even saw magpies! We’d definitely rent again.
We really enjoyed the location and spent most are time paddling and fishing. The staff were very kind. The bed frame felt like it was going to break though so sleep was an issue. I would suggest a cutting board and conditioner but other than that all amenities met. Also the cob webs off the porch before guests arrive and or leaving a broom. A lot of work being done there the boat ramp was a bunch of cotton wood chips so it got over everything. just the small things but worth mentioning. The store onsite super helpful. We plan on returning and getting one of the bigger cabins. I see the vision and it’s coming together! The Beaver doing its job on the cottonwood was so awesome to watch every evening and a muskrat I would assume?

We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, paddling and fishing, and found the onsite store helpful. We’ll check the bed frame and make sure it’s sturdy for future guests. Cutting boards are normally provided in the cabins, and we’ll make sure one is available. We also appreciate your notes about conditioner, the porch, and boat ramp conditions as we continue preparing the property for future stays. It’s great to hear you’re already planning to return and try one of the larger cabins.
The cottage was perfect for our travel plans, very close to Crater lake, fort Klamath, Kendall F Jackson SP. We also did a day trip to Bend riverbend park and tumalo falls. My favorite aspect was the tranquility of the river in the mornings, lots of birds and wildlife. As a tip for groceries visit the dollar general in town. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was cozy.
