Cottage at the Shore

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good things come in small packages. Actually the size was perfect. We enjoyed the great views and the few steps to the ocean. Very relaxing. Bedrooms were a little snug but we worked around that. The 1/2 bath was a great aspect of this cottage. When we rented we were under compression it was only one bath. Overall, a great vacation and rental experience.5

McGowan Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing they could use an upgrade in this house is a central air-conditioning. It works good, but not great when we showed up at the house. It was 80° and it was shut off for some reason. Don’t know why also the previous tenant left us without propane and a dirty grill. Also didn’t put the trash in bags and they will not take it unless you do. I did mention this to Martha Marie and they were very professional rented this house for six years and hope to rent it for at least six more.
Response from VrboOwner on 21 Sept 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the grill was dirty and out of propane. Our cleaners are supposed to fire it up and clean them. If you run into this in the future, please give us a call so we may send someone over to change the propane out and clean the grill! We hope to have you back again next year and thank you again for bringing this feedback to our attention.

Amazing Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time staying here. The location and proximity to the beach and the layout of the house and property was perfect for our family with 3 young children. The only issue we had was the state of the outdoor grill - old and falling apart and unable to get it lit with even a slight breeze. We loved it and look forward to coming back!
Response from VrboOwner on 8 Jan 2025
Thank you for your feedback! If you ever have an issue with a grill again, please let us know. We could have brought over a loaner grill and/or addressed the grill issue during your stay! Hope to see you again next season!

56D Uncle Stephen's Rd.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a wonderful week! Beautifully appointed beach house right on the ocean. The sound of the waves was memorable. The views were stunning; the sky was different every day - each one better than the one before. The "party house" next door was unexpected, but not a real problem. The ants were kind of a bummer. The bedrooms are tiny. No room even for suitcases! Still, overall a fab experience.
Response from VrboOwner on 1 Apr 2025
Oh no! Distracting neighbors (and tiny guests) can make a relaxing vacation a nightmare! Please always call if you have something like this going on. We would have been happy to come by!

Fabulous beach getaway

Adorable, newly renovated beachfront home. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are really comfortable — isn’t that what really matters? The kitchen is very well appointed, with new appliances. The location is perfect — literally 10 step from the porch to the semi-private beach. Hope to go back year after year.
